Beep. beep. beep. It's all that Yuu could hear as he soon awakens from his deep slumber. His vision was blurry and could only see white everywhere. A few minutes later his vision was back to normal. He took the chance to look around to see he was at the hospital. He then noticed Nate sleeping in the chair by the bed. He weakly smile before he heard the door opening and closing, followed by a set of what sounded a women's heels walking his way.

"Ah, Morning Yuu, you been out for sometime now, so please remain calm, we don't want you to get a headache on that bruise head of yours." 

The nice elderly nurse said with a sweet smile on her lovely face. She went through the papers that were clip on her blue clipboard, until she stops in one of the pages before looking over it. 

"We will be giving you some pain medication for you and your friend over there, and both of you will probably be released tomorrow afternoon. Now if you need to use the bathroom or stand up to walk around, please don't be afraid or shy to call one of the nurses." 

The nice elderly lady said before walking back to the door. She then stops for a moment before turning her head back at Yuu. 

"I'll be back later with the pain medications" 

She said before exiting the room. Yuu goes back to looking at the sleeping Nate but realised he was already awake...well half awake, he seems to be still a bit sleepy. Suddenly Nates eyes shoot wide open as he realised that Yuu was already awake and gives him a big hug.

"Oh my God, I was so worried that you would never wake up...im so sorry I couldn't protect you Yuu...I wish I could have done more to protect you....and now look where you end up."

Nate said almost in a hush tone as Yuu could tell he was upset over it. Yuu hugs him back and laid his forehead on Nates shoulder.

"Nate....do you realised that if you weren't there at the house and were at work, that i'll probably wouldn't be here.... talking to you. You did more that you could and you give it your all to protect me....I just wish I could at least defended myself a bit or protect you from getting seriously hurt...." 

Yuu said sadly and surprisingly without stuttering as much as he usually does, he then look over at Nates shoulder where it was cover with badges and probably with stitches. Suddenly Nate kissed Yuu's cheek before kissing his lips very softly.

"Don't say that silly....I'm actually glad i didn't take the night ship...plus how could I? if I didn't felt at ease with some asshole looking for a chances to hurt you......I-to be honest I couldn't imagine my life without you...I like the way i tease you until your face it's completely red....I love the way when I hold you in my sleep it feels nice and warm...and I don't feel lonely when I sleep either....hehe..I just realised this is actually how we kinda meet each other...in the hospital...only at that time I couldn't hold you, cause you were afraid of me."

Nate said as he raise his head from Yuu's shoulder and looks into Yuu's beautiful eyes. Yuu what somewhat speechless on how Nate literally telling him he couldn't live his life without him in it. It made Yuu's heart skip a beat, as soon as Nate leans back to look at his eyes. Yuu leans in and give him a soft but long kiss, of course it took Nate a bit by surprised but he kissed back anyways. The kiss felt like it lasted for centuries, but in reality it lasted for a few minutes. Suddenly Nate broke the kiss and the hug, he got off the bed and kneel down on one knee. Yuu was a bit confused at first as he saw Nate nervous for some reason until Nate began to spake. 

"Yuu....I've been trying to gather the courage to ask you this important question....I thought maybe this would be the perfect time to say it...um.....I love you with all my heart....I can't stop thinking about....your the sweetest person I know....I know that neither of us can have a baby, but we could alway adopte...i-if you want to...what im trying to say.......will you do me the honors and become my partner for life?" 

Nate said looking at Yuu with hope in his eyes as he pulled out a small box, opens it and inside of it was a gold ring. Meanwhile Yuu felt like he was having a heart attack and they could clearly hear it by the heart monitor. Yuu's eyes were filled with tears as some of them escape and slide down his red cheeks. He was extremely happy and speechless that he couldn't say a word and just nods his head yes. Nate's hopeful eyes quickly turn to joy and happiness as he went and hugged Yuu. Yuu hugged him back and they stay like that for a while before Nate broke the hug once again and places the golden ring on Yuu's small finger. Smiles were spread wide on both males as they happiness and love continue to grow each and every day. Not letting the bad times getting in there way as there love for each other was pure and strong to let anything destroy it until there time is up and continue in there next life.
