Arthur's pov
" we're camping here" I announce
" great!" Gwain immediately falls asleep next to a big oak tree
" sire..." Leon says cautiously
"Leon" I say to mock his tons
" it's just this is the valley of the fallen kings er..."
"Very well spotted! I'm glad we can count on you to point out the obvious!"
I say in an exasperated tone. That shut him up.
"I'll take first watch" I hear Percival say before drifting off myself.
Merlins pov
" here. Drink" I hear Morgana say before pouring bitter liquid down my parched throat.
" what was that?" I ask
She doesn't answer me. I watch carefully as she picks up a yellow snake from a woven basket.
" Hello gorgeous!" She says in a mock motherly tone
She walks over to me and seeing as my hands are tied to to the ceiling I can't do much when the snake wraps itself around my bare chest, around my shoulders, around my arms.
" remember when I said you have to do exactly what I tell you?"
I try to nod but the snake has wrapped it's yellow body around my neck. I'm very caught off guard when slaps me.
"Speak Merlin!"
Before I can answer I feel a sharp pain on my left shoulder where the snake had bitten me and I black out
