Arthur's pov
Merlin and I are dragged to opposite sides of the dungeon. I'm locked in to a cell, across from Merlin
" I'll see you let out in a week." My father tells me.
" and Merlin?" I choke out
" merlin has been accused of magic by Agravaine." He looks at me in disgust
" you knew?"
" what? No! I didn't know because it isn't true! Merlin can barley make a bed he's not going to be able to do sorcery!"
" Agravaine witnessed him in the forest!" And with that he walk away
I bang against the bar. " father!" I almost scream
Merlin had to know what's going on. I can't let him die because of something Agravaine said!
" Merlin!" I yell into the seemingly empty air.
" yeah I heard the whole thing" he answers back
Merlins pov
Oh my god. He can't know. Does
Agravaine know I have magic? Surely he doesn't.
The only people that know I have magic are Gaius and Lancelot. Speaking of Lancelot, he's one of my guards the other is Percival.
Lancelot says " we're going to try and sneak you out okay Merlin? You can hide out at Gwen's"
" I don't want you to risk yourself a for me. I'm just a servant."
Then Arthur comes back in the conversation, " you have to stop thinking like that, Merlin"
Lancelot seems to make a choice for me. "Your trial is at noon tomorrow, so we'll get you out at nine tomorrow morning."
