Merlins pov
" she's not telling the truth Arthur, her magic doesn't even work right now let's go." I say
" but she could be telling the truth I don't want to risk anything" Arthur says while glaring at the witch in the chair.
" It's a scare tactic, I won't actually die"
I roll my eyes " and anyway I've got you to protect me now!" I say in a whisper
" you certainly do" Arthur smiles and this time I do not hesitate to hug him when he opens his arms
" how touching" says Morgana
No not Morgana it's the wrong voice.
Agravaine's voice comes from where the which should have been.
We had sent the Knights back to get Gaius or someone. Seeing as they could leave and we couldn't they went to get help. They wrong help because now Agravaine has sent the ropes into the fire. And I feel Arthur tense up next me as I loose the ability to control my body again. Wonderful!
Arthur's pov
I'm absolutely horrified when I find I can't move at all. Even More so when I see the shined cold blade pressed to merlins back by my uncle
" uncle?" Apparently the spell has not rendered me speechless. My uncle and my sister... My Uncle and my sister!
How does this, this thing, run in our family bloodline?
I try to appear on top of things for merlins sake but I can't do it. My whole world except maybe Merlin was a lie for the lay 2 years.
What the hell do I do? I'm jolted out of my thoughts when Merlin is grabbed my his hair( seeing how his shirt is nowhere to be seen) and thrown onto the ground at my sisters feet. I am utterly helpless
He lets out a strangles cry when she kicks him the first time. but there is more than a first time by the end he's sobbing
Something clicks and I loose it
"STOP CANT YOU SEE CANT TAKE IT ? PLEASE IF YOUR GOAL IS TO HURT MEELIN-"
" my goal is to hurt you and I'd say-"
Merlin is Lying on his back now and she lifts his head up by his hair and slams it agains the ground.
" I'd say I'm doing a perfectly wonderful job"
She lets merlin get up, or makes him and he sits down in a chair. And to my absolute horror, she kisses him
Before he can say stop something so powerful it nothing but magic throws her off of him. The spell breaks.
I run up to Merlin and he stands but then crumples because he's still seek from being kicked my... Her
As last resort I pick him up and he says
" let's go"
But I remember the spell. Should we go?
Merlin is confident that he won't die
I do the crazy thing and run out the door
