"Get off her" a deep husky voice called out from behind

The ass hat that was holding onto me let go and I instantly turned on my heel to see the dark blonde hair and brown eyes I grew up with.

"Connor" the asshat and I said in unison, me stating it while it was more of a question to him.

He almost looked scared of him as if he was threatening his existence just by being here let alone cat calling his sister and grabbing girls.

Connor's facial features softened the minute his eyes came in my direction then immediately hardened when the jackass started talking.

"I'm sorry I'm just gonna finish up some business with some chicks" he tried to play off and went for a highfive from his buds but none of them moved.

Connor's eyebrows arched

"Oh these chicks?" He questioned hoping he didn't mean us.

"Yeah man, it's real simple, or at least it was the brunette is a bit sassy." he said with a tone as if he gave him a headsup.

"OHHH these chicks! My sister and girlfriend thanks for the warning." Connor nonchalantly told him,

Girlfriend? That's new I mean he is good looking and a nice gu- I need to stop over compensating things.

I look to Connor with a questionable face and just winked at me.

So I played along and walked myself over to Connor and said

"Yeah exactly and he was telling me he was gonna do stuff..."I say sucking on my finger all bratty like.

He looks at me with dead eyes and tried explaining the situation.

Connor slowly turns to me and whispers in my ear with ease.

"You had the super dog didn't you." I didn't understand what he was saying until I realized we were still outside the hot dog place and my breathe most likely smells like onions and relish.

Oh my god how embarrassing...

He chuckled after his comment after he nodded to the douchebag to leave and at the drop of a hat he instantly did.

Lainey stepped up after he left.

"Hey guys? I'm still here you know get lovey dovey when I'm not here thanks" she said in a grossed out tone.

We scooted away from each other embarrassed and red not noticing we were still in the same holding position from earlier.

Connor quickly cleared his throat and removed his arm around my shoulders.

Lainey walked over and hugged her brother,you can tell they missed each other just by the aura they were casting around themselves.

It kind of makes me miss Ash, I mean yeah I see him sometimes but we haven't sat down and talked about stuff.

Like the fact he has a girlfriend and he didn't tell me about it.

Oh just wait till I get home he's gonna get it.

"Cmon I'll take you guys to where your staying" Connor walked us to our cars, his black beemer  parked a little further than the impala.

"Is this yours?" He asked with a puzzled look

"Hell yeah,it's mine this is baby" I told with a smile as I patted my beaut.

Lainey went got into Connor's car and honestly I was okay with it I've been in a car with her for a couple of hours I like my alone time.
