Chapter 14

Emily's POV

I was up in my room going through my dashboard on tumblr trying to get my mind off of today when there was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said assuming it was either Mrs. Logan or Nate. But no it was Mikey.

"Hey." He said walking into my room. I sat up setting my ipod on my bed

"hey Mikey what are you doing here?" I asked with a smile. He walked over and sat on my bed next to me.

"Just wanted to know how you were doing." He replied putting an arm around me. I places my head on his shoulder. I guess i should tell him.

"Mikey can i tell you something?" I asked moving away from him. He just nodded looking concerned. "Today, at lunch Stacey came up to me again..." I started by explaining to him everything she said.

"Wait she threatened to tell everyone about you being a foster kid unless you stay away from me." He said a hint of anger in his voice. I can tell that Stacey gets on his nerve. I nodded. "That makes no sense."

"Yea and i don't know what to do because you mean everything to me and I don't want to lose you." I said placing my head on his shoulder again. He rubbed me back not saying anything for a while.

"Listen, Emily you dont have to listen to people like Stacey. She is just trying to get a reaction out of you." He said placing a kiss on my head. "How about to get your mind off of things we watch something on netflix." He suggested and i nodded. He took his laptop out of his backpack and we laid down on my bed watching different movies.

Durning our second movie i was getting tired. I got comfortable under Mikey's arm and rested my head on his chest. This was perfect. I never wanted to leave this Moment. I closed my eyes and heard Mikey mumble something before he kissed my forehead. Thats when i fell asleep.

Mikey's POV

We started to watch our second movie on netflix when i felt Emily move next to me. I looked over and saw that she had her head on my chest and her eyes closed. I smiled at her. "I love you Emily" i mumble kissing her forehead. I checked the time on my phone and it was almost 10:00. I figured she was fully asleep by now so i carefully moved her head and tried not to wake her. She moved around a bit but was soon back to snoring quietly. I grabbed my laptop and backpack and tip toed out of her room. I closed the door quietly and turned around to run in to her brother.

"Hi" I said awkwardly

"Your Mikey right?" He asked and I nodded. "And your dating Emily?"

"Yes sir," I replied. I don't know why I am so worried about taking to him. He does tower over me a bit which is a bit intimidating.

"So you know that her birthday is this Friday." He said and I nodded again. "Can you keep a secret?" He asked and I nodded confused. He motioned for me to follow him downstairs just in case Emily wakes up and hears us talking outside her door. I followed him to the living room and he explained what he and his parents are doing for Emily. It was a great idea to be honest.

(A/N AHHH!!! an update. I know it has literally been so long since I updated but I am trying since I don't have Internet and I am writing on my phone. School has been a lot lately and I don't find time but I will be posting every few weeks or so. And I apologize for any errors I am writing on my phone.
