My name is Tara 'Tay' Sixx. I just recently moved to Hawaii from Florida, I have been drafted by the Hawaii governor herself to be part of a task force she put together nearly six years ago. She claims to have full faith in the men and women she hired to do the job but says she feels they could use an extra hand and that she would only trust someone she knows is fully trained.

I would guess that I am fully trained. I am 26 years old and have already completed two tours of active duty in the Marine corps. Most people think I'm a bitch because I was in the military and have seen combat but in reality I might be one of the easiest people to get along with once you get to know me. I tend to be quite the smartass, and I love to fuck with people.

"You will get along with them easily I'm sure" the governor smiled.

"I hope so, it'll be a little difficult to work alongside them if we can't get along" I smiled.

"I don't foresee you having any issues" she smiled as we walked into 5-0.

"Steve" the governor called.

"Yes ma'am governor" a dark haired man asked approaching us while glancing between the two of us.

"This is Tay, the young lady I called you about yesterday" she smiled.

"My new recruit" he asked narrowing his eyes at me.

"Yes, now Tay I'll leave you to it, I will contact you this evening to see how it's working out" she smiled to me.

"Thank you governor" I smiled.

"No problem, and McGarrett make sure Tay gets a fair chance" she smiled walking out.

I looked up at him and watched his facial features.

"No offense sir, but you look constipated" I said softly.

"He makes that face when he's angry I call it his constipation face" a light haired man chuckled walking through the room.

"I'm sorry sir I didn't mean that smartly" I said looking up at the dark haired man.

"I'm commander mcgarrett you are under my command" he said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Tay, uh Lance Corporal, Special Agent, which ever you prefer" I smiled.

"You are military" he asked.

"Marine corps sir" I said.

"Hoorah" he smiled.

"Semper fi" I said.

"No more sir crap, call me Steve" he said.

"Because I'm military" I asked.

"Maybe, or maybe it's more, have you ever worked a job like this" he asked.

"I worked MP in Iraq and Afghanistan" I said.

"Alright close enough, come on we will introduce you to the team" he said.

"Sounds good" I smiled.

I followed Steve into the office further, there were two men, one of which I saw earlier, and a woman.

"Tay meet Danny, chin and kono" Steve said.

"Nice to meet you all" I said.

"Wow it'll be so rad having another girl on the team" kono said hugging me.

"Thanks, I'm really excited to be here" I said.

"We already have a case today as well, Steve Pd called and notified us of a db near Waikiki beach, we should head over" chin said.
