Jealousy

I woke up early this morning to steve's phone going off. He was passed out still. I picked up the phone and looked, the governor's name was across the top. Just so you're aware steve got in a lot of trouble a while back for murdering the governor. Turned out they found footage proving steve didn't do the crime. After everything was cleared steve and I moved in together and re-instated 5-0 through the new governors orders. I shook steve.

"hmm" he groaned.

"governors calling you" I said.

"shit" he said jumping up and answering the phone.

I listened to his 'uh huhs' and the final 'im on my way'.

"I have to shower and dress nice, meeting with the governor, ill see you after" steve smiled.

"alright" I smiled.

"I love you" he smiled.

"I love you" I said.

I snuggled into steve's pillow and fell back asleep. I woke up again to my phone ringing. Danny's name flashing across it. I sighed heavily and answered.

D: don't sigh at me.

T: we got a case?

D: you know it, got a body washed up on the beach in oahu.

T: on my way, did you call steve?

D: Kono did, hes on his way.

T: alright, ill be there in a few.

I hung up and showered. I got dressed in jeans and a tank. I left my hair down straight and did my makeup light. After I was fully ready for work I got my badge and gun on and headed out. I got in my truck and hauled ass to oahu. Once I got there I noticed steve still hadn't arrived. I walked up and stood beside danny.

"whats going on" I asked looking at max and everyone.

"kono ran a print came back to a mafia member named Rigo torres" he said.

"like the rigo torres, California Mexican mafia assassin" I asked.

"that would be the one" danny said.

"wow" I said shocked.

"your man's here" kono smiled hugging me.

I turned to see steve park and get out of his truck. He was headed towards us, not looking too thrilled, I noticed a female jogging to keep up with him. She was talking to him actually. I took notice that shes a really pretty female.

"guys, meet lori, our new partner" steve said walking to the body.

"partner" danny asked.

"yea the governor assigned me" lori said.

"for what" danny asked.

"anything you guys might need me for" she smiled.

"we don't" I said and walked down to the body.

"be nice" danny laughed joining me.

"no, this is about the shit steve was in, and the shit kono was battling. The governor only assigned her to babysit us, its bullshit" I said aggravated.

"don't worry sweetheart im not too thrilled about being your babysitter" lori said offended.

"just stay out of the way, don't interfere with our case and youll be fine" kono said from beside me.

"im part of the team, ill do my job to the fullest extent, I don't have to answer to either of you" she said.

"so you think" kono smirked and turned to me.
