You and Lopez finally caught up to the reds who were talking with Tucker and Wash.

"Have you tried using any D batteries?" asked Sarge.

"Power isn't our problem," said Wash messing with the radio. "These battery arrays are solar."

"Well there's your problem! This baby needs to be converted to diesel on the pronto!" said Sarge matter of factly.

"Solar is field standard for communication systems," said Wash annoyed.

"He is right sir," you add.

"Well ooo la la private hippie! Hey I've got an idea! Why don't we just plant a garden then? Grow some organic sun dried tomatoes and open a farmers market. Then on the first Saturday of the month when the UNSC shows up to buy some fresh sustainable produce we just hop on board and ride back on the power of love," said Sarge sarcastically.

"...(Y/n), Tucker if they touch anything, or if he makes any more suggestions, punch and prod them with your sword," said Wash going back to his work.

"Haha, now that's something i can get behind. Bow chikka bow wo-wait-no, no no no no no!" said Tucker trying to correct his terrible mistake. You laughed at the "Cool calm one" stumbling over his words.

"Fine. Then I guess you don't want any help from our incredibly advanced robotic companion," said Sarge pushing Lopez 2.0 forward. Wash looked at the robot suspiciously waiting for him to say something.

"...Hola," said 2.0

"NOOOOPE."

"Racist," added Grif who had been pretty quiet up to this point.

"Hey tree hugger  what if I told you it runs on recycled cooking grease? It's perfect, Grif sweats the stuff."

"What else was I supposed to drink once we ran out of soda?"

"There's always water," offered Simmons

"Please, what are we cave men?"

"I said no," stated Wash irritably.

"¿Seguro que no quieres ayuda? Esto parece ser una solución relativamente simple," said Lopez looking the radio tower over.

{Are you sure you don't want help? This looks like a relatively simple fix.}

"Whoa is that Lopez?" asked Tucker

"Not exactly," said Simmons and then whispered, "This one isn't very smart."

"Guys stop picking on poor Lopez," you say grumpily.

"En serio, chicos Estoy buscando en el problema. Yo puedo arreglarlo ahora."

{Seriously, guys I'm looking at the problem.I can fix it right now.}

"How can you tell he's stupid?" asked Tucker.

"He isn't!" you say. "He's just set to Spanish! I can fix it!"

"(Y/n) don't worry I know my boy is stupid you don't have to act like you can fix him for me," said Sarge smiling at you. "It's a sweet thought though."

"Bueno, si nadie me va a detener Voy a arreglar su torre de radio."

{Okay, if no one is going to stop me I'm going to fix your radio tower.}

"Go ahead Lopez," you say as the rest continue their conversation.

"Why don't you three check on our food supply? It's been a while since I've done a full inventory," said Wash continuing to work on the tower.
