Chelsea's POV

I walk behind Daryl with my knife in my hand.

After Danielle's little outburst, he talked to her. I watched them, thinking that I could at least read Danielle's lips, but I failed. But the last thing that happened was Daryl took her gun and walked away. I have no clue what that was about and I plan on finding out.

"So uh...why did you take Danielle's gun?" I ask. Daryl doesn't turn around.

"She was being stupid." He answers.

"How so?" I press.

"Don't worry about it."

"I'm her best friend. I think I deserve to know." He stays quiet for a few moments.

"She wanted to kill herself." Daryl sighs. I stop walking and stare at him. He stops walking as well and turns towards me.

"Why?"

"I'm not completly sure 'bout that. You'll have to ask her that yourself." He grumbles.

Tears well up in my eyes at the thought of Danielle killing herself. Why would she even consider that? I don't understand.

"Stop." Daryl demands. I give him a confused look. He sighs and walks over to me. He wipes the few tears away. "Stop crying." He demands once again.

I force myself to stop and I wipe the remaining tears away. I smile weakly at him. He kisses me gently.

"Let's keep moving." I sigh. He nods and turns around. I begin walking beside him as we continue hunting.

Danielle's POV

"What would you rather shoot? Crossbow or pistol?" Carl asks. Violet sits down close to me and Carl.

"Crossbow. What about you?"

"Pistol. Never shot a crossbow."

"I'll teach ya sometime." I promise. He looks at me with bright eyes.

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it. So...what do you miss the most?"

"Video games." He chuckles. "You?"

"Pizza."

"Pizza?"

"Oh yeah. Don't get me wrong, I love squirrels and rabbits, but day after day...you kind of want something else. And pizza wouldn't be too bad right now. Hell, it would be heaven."

He laughs at me, "What kind of pizza?"

"Pepperoni all the way. When I was little...around 4 or 5...my mom, not Daryl and Merle's mom, but my mom, hell she hated the smell of pepperoni. She didn't even want to look at it. But it was my absolute favorite. Every time we got pizza, she would sit across the room from me. If we were at a restaurant, she would hold her nose." I chuckle at the thought.

"I thought you and Daryl were full siblings."

"Nah. Half. Dad had an affair with Daryl and Merle's mom and got my mom pregnant." I explain. He nods and looks at his hands.

"I didn't know."

"Oh, its fine." I assure him and wrap my arm around his shoulders. He smiles up at me.Me and my mom didn't really get along too much. We had are moments where we were smiling with each other, but they were short lived. Most of the time I didn't want to be around her. I know that's bad, but it's just the way it was. It was always like that. And it only got worse after we moved in with dad, Daryl and Merle.
