Vampires

Kris's POV

Chanyeol was pacing the room. Kris was wondering when Lay would wake up. Suho and Tao wanted to find out who the heck did this to their friend. Sun Ha was researching the internet about any vampires in the area but had come up with nothing. Chanyeol suddenly turned into a werewolf and Kris followed him in human form as he ran outside. There was a teen standing outside the door. Chanyeol growled at him and was about to launch himself at the teen. Kris could tell that this boy was a vampire by his scent. 

"Sorry I'm lost..." he said, looking around. 

Chanyeol turned back into a human and glared at the vampire teen standing in front of him. He didn't look much older than 19. Kris could already tell that he wasn't the one that bit Lay and put him in this situation. The vampire looked around and suddenly ducked down. A bullet flew past his head. Chanyeol grabbed onto the vampire's arm and ran back into their house. All of Kris's friends were confused as they brought a vampire into their house. 

"Why did that person shoot at you?" Kris asked. 

"He wasn't trying to shoot at me. Even though he looked like he was trying to shoot me. He was just trying to kill a rabbit that was near me. The hunter motioned for me to duck, so I did." He answered. 

"Well okay..." Kris said. 

"But how did you get so deep into the forest?" Chanyeol asked, still glaring at the vampire. Kris could tell he was uneasy about him.

"I don't know... I wandered away from the vampires because I'm sick of being one. My leader Yongguk turned us... without asking us." He says. 

"What's your name?" Suho asks. 

"I'm Zelo. The youngest of the vampires." Zelo answered. 

"Zelo... Zelo... I know you from somewhere." Chanyeol thought to himself.  

"I went to your elementary school." Zelo said. 

"I have a question... is it possible for a vampire to become a human again? Like a regular human?" Sehun asked from his spot on the couch in between Baekhyun and Tao.

"Yongguk hyung said that if we die as a vampire, then we could become a human." Zelo answered. 

"Was Yongguk born a vampire?" Luhan asks. 

"That would make sense, since he can turn people into vampires..." Kai wondered.

"Yea he is." Zelo says. 

"But... hold on a second, don't all vampires heal quickly? How is it possible to kill a vampire if their immortal?" Kris asked. 

"There is a way... a special dagger hidden somewhere in this forest. There's a legend about it." Zelo said. 

"You want to become a human again?" Baekhyun asks. 

"Yes... more then anything. Even though I like being able to run as fast as a cheetah, I don't want to be something that I was forced to be." Zelo says. 

"Well we wish you good luck on your search and please come visit us." Suho said. 

"Wait... which one of you bit Lay?" Chanyeol almost shouted this. 

"It must have been Daehyun hyung because he came back one night with blood on his fangs. I could tell it was a werewolf that he bit by the smell." Zelo answered. "Bye, I should go now. I want to be a human again as soon as possible." 

Kris looked over at Lay. Lay was starting to shift where he laid down, he rolled off the couch he was on and hit his head on the table. Kris ran over to him with Chanyeol and helped him stand up. They helped Lay sit up on the couch that he just fell off of. His eyes opened and Kris was so happy to see that Lay was going to be okay. 

"Lay, now that your back, want to go for a hunt?" Kris asks. 

"Sure. I feel a little bit better." Lay said as he yawned. 

"Let's go then." Luhan said. 

Lay started to transfer into a wolf but suddenly couldn't. Light shimmered around him but nothing happened. He just stayed a human. Kris sniffed the air around Lay and noticed that he no longer smelled like a wolf. Lay's werewolf powers were gone... and they were taken by the fangs of Daehyun...
