Kai is still Gone

Luhan's POV

Kai still hadn't returned and it had now been a week since he disappeared. Now everyone was mostly just anxious. Hardly anyone talked because the topic up for discussion would definitely be about where Kai was and how he was going to be back if his powers were still not under control. Luhan stared at the wall. No one was really focusing on what they were doing. Chanyeol was getting a little bit better at controlling his powers, as was everyone else. But Kai was still gone and no one really knew what to do without him there. They wanted to all practice together and without Kai they couldn't really practice together as one.

Chanyeol and D.O had decided to cook to get ready for dinner. Luhan knew that everyone was hungry after a day of practically doing nothing. Literally just lying there, not doing anything. They didn't even want to play games. Most of them paced the room, sometimes random fire or lightning would shoot out from Chanyeol and Chen's hands whenever they paced. Sometimes Luhan wondered if Kai had really gone around the world or something by accident because it didn't really make sense for him to be gone this long, even if his powers were not under control.

As Chanyeol and D.O made dinner, everyone practiced but no one really was in the mood for it, even if they all wanted to get better at controlling their powers soon. Even though he didn't want too, Luhan tried to move a chair into the air. But for some reason he neither had the mood nor the energy for it. Luhan knew that he must practice so he stood up to try it this time instead of sitting down on the ground. The chair started to float higher and higher into the air but Luhan suddenly got distracted by something flying towards him, it was a giant snowball, probably thrown by Xiumin. Luhan threw the chair away and made a bench slide towards him and go in front of his face. It blocked the snowball and Xiumin started to laugh at Luhan. Luhan smiled at little.

"Yah! Luhan, your chair just hit Kris!" Chen yelled at Luhan.

Luhan ran over to see Kris on the ground, conscious but he was clutching his head. Lay ran over with Sehun and D.O. Sehun slowly lifted Kris's hands off of his head and Lay put his hands on the wound. His healing power healing the bump that was starting to form on his head. Kris slowly opened his eyes. He smiled at Luhan. Luhan froze because he didn't know what to say. Everyone looked at him and his face flushed in embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry Kris! That was all my fault!" Luhan said, staring down at the ground.

"It's fine Luhan. Thanks to Lay, I'll be fine." Kris says.

"Everyone get back to practicing, it's almost dinner time." Suho ordered them. "Oh and Luhan, be more careful please."

"Okay Suho." Luhan says.

They all went back to practice. A half an hour later, Chanyeol and D.O called everyone over to have dinner until they had to continue practicing again. D.O set the table and everyone started to eat the food that they made. Luhan finished eating first so that he could continue practicing. He wanted to get stronger, and fast. He didn't want to hurt any of his friends ever again. Luhan practiced with smaller objects instead of a chair and a bench. It started to get easier. Xiumin had accidently frozen the floor over again so Suho had to help him unfreeze it.

Once that was done, they all decided to just play a game of rock paper scissors just in case Kai decided to randomly appear back that day. They all played to decide who would clean up the dishes and who could continue practicing their power. Baekhyun and Sehun lost so that meant that they had to clean up while everyone else practiced their powers.

Suddenly, Kai appeared as they were practicing. He fell and Luhan stopped him from hitting the ground. Kai was sweating and out of breath. Suho ran over and helped Luhan bring Kai over to the couch where no one was sitting. Suho got a glass from a cupboard and used his power to put water in it. Kai drank the water and opened his eyes. He looked around the room and tried to sit up fast but Luhan stopped him and Kai slowly lay back down. Kai told him where he was and what had happened to him on his little trip around the world. After he rested, Suho helped Kai with his powers.

And so begins the story of Exo Powers.

I got the idea for this story after I wrote Exo Powers. I wanted to explain what happened before they all ended up in the labyrinth and what happened there. So I hope you enjoyed my story. I'll be working on a Seventeen story next since I already wrote two Exo stories. I'll probably try to make the Seventeen story longer then Exo Wolves and Exo Powers. So please look forward to my Seventeen story to be published later next month!
