Zelo is Normal Again

Chen's POV

Suddenly, a bright light shone around Zelo. He still had the wound in his side but he seemed to be okay. Chanyeol, Lay and Suho backed away from Zelo as the light shone around him. The wound started to close in his side and the bandages fell as the wound closed . When Zelo opened his mouth, Chen saw that his fangs were gone too. Zelo was smiling as the light disappeared. Chanyeol was happy that his friend was going to be okay, Chen could tell as Chanyeol smiled.

Chen turned into a wolf and so did Chanyeol. Both of them ran out the door as Kris opened it for them. Chen knew that Chanyeol still wanted revenge for what Daehyun did to Lay. Chen thought that was where Chanyeol was going as he noticed Xiumin, Kai, Luhan, Sehun, Tao, Suho and Baekhyun following behind them. Chen started to smell the ground for the scent of a certain vampire and got something heading north. They followed it while running at first but then when they got closer, all of them slowed down. They hid behind bushes and watched as 5 vampires gathered together in front of them.

"Did you find Zelo?" one of them asked.

"I couldn't find him at all. I thought for one second that I found his scent, but then it disappeared..." Daehyun responded.

"What if he became a human?" another vampire asked.

"Now how would he do that." a guy with a deep voice said.

"He was talking to me about a special dagger that he could use to turn himself into a human." a fourth voice said.

"Jongup! Why didn't you tell us this??" the first voice asked.

"He told me to keep it a secret from Yongguk." Jongup turned to face the guy who had a deep voice.

"But if he's a human, then he can't be with us anymore..." another voice said.

"Your right... is there a way to turn him back? Do you have any idea Himchan?" the first voice asked.

"How would I know Youngjae? I was the one who was bitten first and Yongguk, you know I never wanted to be a vampire in the first place but you did it anyway..." Himchan says, glaring at Yongguk.

"Don't bring that up Himchan." Yongguk glared back.

"I guess we just have to just deal with the fact that there are only 5 of us left." Daehyun says.

"The last 5 vampires alive..." Youngjae said, stared at the ground.

Kai suddenly shifted into a human by accident. The 5 vampires saw this. Kai had stood up as he was shifting into a human and Himchan had turned to look in their direction. Himchan pointed at him with wide eyes. Kai waved at him and shifted back into a werewolf. Chen knew that their cover was blown as soon as that happened. Yongguk walked over to the bush that they were hiding behind and Chen shifted back into a human. Chen knew that he wouldn't lose his powers if the vampires bit him while he was in human form. The rest of the werewolves that Chen came with also shifted into humans.

Chanyeol ran forward and slammed Daehyun against a tree. His eyes glowing red. Chen had never seen Chanyeol get so mad at someone. But Lay and Chanyeol are close so Chen could have guessed that this might happen. Chen was angry too. But he didn't have the guts to go up against a vampire when they could bite you or attack you at anytime. At least the wolves in their now 11 member pack knew when not to bite. The wolves wouldn't attack an injured animal, they would shift back into humans and try and help it. But vampires are different. Sometimes they can be selfish and don't care about other animals or werewolves feelings.

"Why did you bite Lay?!" Chanyeol growled.

"Act of self-defense. Now unhand me wolf." Daehyun snapped.

"My name is not wolf it's Chanyeol, vampire." Chanyeol snapped back.

"Unhand him. We will bite you if you hurt him." Jongup said. Yongguk looked amused for some reason.

Chanyeol punched Daehyun in the face as Yongguk sat back against a tree. Looking lazy. Chen ran forward and grabbed Chanyeol's arm so he couldn't punch Daehyun again. Daehyun held his cheek with one of his hands as Himchan and Youngjae ran to see if Daehyun was okay. Chen still held onto Chanyeol as Chanyeol glared at Chen.

"Lay tried to defend himself but I was too much of a coward... so I bit him, causing him to lose his werewolf powers..." Daehyun said.

"Is that the answer you wanted?" Youngjae asked, standing in front of Daehyun, protecting him.

"Not even close." Chanyeol says.
