Remembering

Tao's POV

Tao woke up in a hospital room. Sehun and Baekhyun on either sides of him. D.O, Lay and Kris were on the other side of the room. Tao had scratch marks on his arms. Probably from when they were all attacked by wolves. But he doesn't remember anything after that. Tao just woke up in this bed, confused. Feeling like he was forgetting someone. But everyone was here though so he didn't know what to say. Tao wondered if anyone was the same way. Feeling like someone or something was missing from their memory. Baekhyun started to stir in his sleep. Tao wondered how long they were in the hospital for and if everyone else was going to be okay. Tao also wanted to know when they could get out of the hospital.

Tao fell asleep for the next hour. Chen and the rest of the members from the other room came to visit, therefore waking Tao up from his dream. It was awkward for a couple of minutes because no one knew how to start a conversation or what to start a conversation with. Kris, Lay, D.O, Sehun, Baekhyun and Tao all pressed a button so that their beds could go into a siting position.

Suho was pushing Chanyeol in a wheelchair because Chanyeol had broken his foot somewhere. Maybe when they were all trying to get away from the wolves. Tao had a sudden memory of Chanyeol falling down a hill after tripping over a rock. Chanyeol had scratches on his face that were covered with band aids.

"I know it's a little too soon, but we have to start working on our new come back soon. It's a song called Overdose. I got a call from S.M. Entertainment saying that we have to head there this afternoon." Suho says, holding up his cell phone.

"Do we have to go today?" Sehun asks.

"Ne Sehun, we do." Suho said.

"But Chanyeol broke his foot. If we worked on this comeback, then he could get hurt more." Lay says.

"I'll be fine. I'll wait a couple of weeks to get back on my feet. Don't worry Lay, I'll be okay. Chanyeol tries to reassure Lay.

"Did you tell S.M. that Chanyeol hurt himself?" Baekhyun asks Suho.

"Ne, they said that they will wait until Chanyeol can walk so that he can dance properly without further injuring himself." Suho answers.

The doctor told them that they had to stay for a little bit longer because of Chanyeol's injuries. Chanyeol told them that they didn't have to stay with him since he was the only one injured. But Tao and Suho insisted that they stay with him even if meant putting off their come back for a little bit longer. It had been a while since their last song and Tao wanted to dance with his friends again and have fun with the rest of Exo. Tao hoped that Chanyeol would get better soon since Chanyeol likes to dance and be with his friends just as much as the rest of Exo does.

For the rest of the month, Suho cancelled schedules and performances just so Chanyeol could get better. Tao still hoped that Chanyeol would get the cast off really soon. S.M Entertainment was getting very impatient with the idea of this come back and what it could mean for them. Suho continued to tell them that they would be back soon with Chanyeol on both of his feet. But S.M Entertainment were now being extremely impatient. Tao wanted to get back to dancing as one with his friends.

Exo-k decided to stay in the room with Chanyeol and Exo-m went to go in the other room with Tao. Tao wondered what Exo-k would be talking about with Exo-m. Suho soon came to get them and they all went back into the room. Suho told them that Chanyeol should be better in a couple of days since his foot is feeling better after a month of resting it. Lay told Chanyeol not to push himself too far and Chanyeol laughed a little at that, which made Lay smile.

A couple of days later, the doctor took the cast off of Chanyeol's right leg and Suho helped Chanyeol stand properly. Chanyeol stumbled when his right food hit the ground but the doctor and Suho helped him stand up. Tao was so glad that Chanyeol was going to be okay. Now S.M wouldn't have to keep on pressuring them to return! Tao could tell that Chanyeol was really excited for their come back. So was the rest of his friends. Everyone walked out of the hospital together. Chanyeol, Suho, Lay, Kris, Chen and Xiumin all had their arms wrapped around each others shoulders. Tao, Kai, Luhan, Baekhyun, D.O and Sehun also had their arms wrapped around each others shoulders.

Tao saw two vans waiting for them outside. Everyone split up into Exo-k and Exo-m. Tao followed the rest of the Exo-m members into the second van and Exo-k went into the first one. The vans drove away from the hospital and Tao watched as it got smaller and smaller in the distance and sooner or later he could see S.M. Entertainment slowly coming into eye sight at the end of the road.
