Training

Chanyeol's POV

Suho was helping Baekhyun and Lay to control their powers. While Chanyeol was trying not to set something on fire. He had made flame appear in his hands but he couldn't figure out how to control it. It was getting harder and harder to try and control the flames. They just continued to keep getting stronger every time he willed his flames to come out of his hands, they got bigger and he had to force them to die down. Chen was working hard to control his powers by himself at the other side of the abandoned subway. Xiumin and Kai were also trying to control their powers. Kai kept on appearing where Chanyeol was sure he didn't want to appear. One time he was gone for a couple of hours because apparently he ended up in Japan and had gotten lost in Tokyo. 

Chanyeol wanted Suho to help him because so far he was the only one who knew how to control his powers. Probably because he was their leader and whoever sent them to the labyrinth wanted or planned Suho to know how to control his powers. But Lay was doing fine with controlling his powers. Kris kept on trying to fly and repeatedly fell to the ground. Lay would heal him every time and so far the wounds closed faster every time he laid his hands over the bruise or whatever Kris got when he fell. Kris was grateful but Chanyeol thought that Kris shouldn't practice in an area where he couldn't go that far or very high... But if he practiced outside, people would probably think that their was a superhero in the city or something like that.

Xiumin had accidently frozen the floor a couple of times and when Chanyeol had fallen down because it was slippery, he shot flames that landed on Kai and Suho had to put them out using his water powers. Xiumin had taken his hands off the ground quickly and all the ice disappeared. Chanyeol had apologized to Kai three times in a row and Kai had responded by saying that he was fine. Suho had told Xiumin to be more careful when using his frost powers. Xiumin said he would try and was getting better ever since that incident.

Chanyeol made the flames appear again on his hands. He blasted his flames towards a post that supposed to hold up some of the building. It immediately caught on fire and Chanyeol had to will the flames that were still on his hands to disappear and the flames on the post. Chanyeol knew that he still had a long time before he could completely control his powers. Lay pretty much knew how, along with Suho. But suddenly Kai disappeared into thin air and was gone from Chanyeol's eye sight. He looked around the room and shouted for everyone to come to him. They all noticed that Kai wasn't there too.

"Where did Kai go?" Suho asked.

"I don't know. One time he was there, the next he wasn't." Chanyeol responds.

"Do you guys think that he must have teleported somewhere far away?" Chen asks.

"I don't think that any of us have a clue where Kai went. He could have gone half-way across the world." Xiumin said.

"Lets just wait, he could come back. Last time he came back after he left for a couple of days." Lay says.

"For now lets continue our training." Suho said.

The next few days, they all practiced hard. Chanyeol couldn't control the large amount of flames that came out of his hands most of the time. None of them seemed to be practicing for a long time anymore. They all seemed to be worried about when Kai would be returning. He hadn't been gone for more than 5 days before. Chanyeol was getting really worried. No one said anything as they ate dinner.

It was the 5th day since Kai had left and pretty much no one was practicing at all. Chanyeol paced the room back and forth. Everyone thought that they should be practicing but no one could keep their mind from the fact that Kai was supposed to be back by now and no one had any idea of where he was.

Suho told them that they should be practicing if they hoped to control their powers soon, but Chanyeol knew that they all just wanted Kai to come back to the subway and just continue practicing so that their powers could soon be controlled.

But as the sun went down on the 5th day, no one talked as they went to bed. They all were sound asleep while Chanyeol was wide awake, stating at the ceiling. He hoped that Kai was okay. Chanyeol closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep as the clock struck midnight.
