The captain and his lieutenant had finally made it to the shores of Neverland and opened the orders from their king. Killian looked at it with disbelief, "A plant? We journeyed across the realms for a plant."
"Our sources say its magical, potent enough to heal any injury"
He looks at his older brother in understanding, " so we never have to bury another sailor at sea again?"
The captain nods, "Now you understand the importance of our mission"
"are you two lost?"
The siblings quickly turn around, pulling their swords and seeing a teenage boy standing behind them. The boy is dressed in a green tunic with all types of belts and covers. He has two wrist guards on and stands there with no visible weapon to fight the brothers, still, they are cautious.
"You look lost to me"
"Identify yourself, boy"
"I'm Peter Pan. I live here. who are you?"
the captain puts his sword away and answers, "Captain Jones, and my lieutenant. We're here by order of the King." Killian stares at the boy, wondering what he is doing out on an island with no borders.
"The King huh?" Pan chuckles, "We don't have any Kings in neverland, just me." he looses all his humor as his sentence finishes.
"That's funny. " Captain Jones walks closer to the boy to show him the paper, "We seek this plant. Now, tell us, boy. where can we find it?" the page shows a description of Dreamshade, which Pan knows to be different then what they expect.
"Your king sent you for this plant?" he reaches for the paper
"You know it?"
"Dreamshade? its the deadliest plant on the island" if you notice, he always looks back at Killian when hes done speaking, as if waiting to see what kind of person he is compared to his brother. "Your King is really ruthless"
"Nonsense," one brother starts, "Its medicine" the other finished
"Its Doom." pans voice hold no room for argument but he knows they won't believe him, they hold their king in high regard. "Why fight a messy battle when you can kill an entire army with the sap of one plant?"
Killian starts to doubt and pulls his brother over towards the side, "Is it possible the King would turn poison upon our enemies?"
"Dont be so gullible, this boy is playing games with us and i'm quickly tiring of them" he takes his paper back from Pan, "come. we should keep moving" pan continues to dead stare the Captain as he demands his brother to leave the boy on the beach.
