HEADCANON
Percy knew Annabeth loved writing, but she was still a demigod, and a demigod with dyslexia.
Whenever Annabeth wrote a new chapter, Percy would scrutinize the page, and give "helpful hints" and "feedback" on her spelling.
Annabeth usually managed to stay calm, but after Percy insisted that 'marshmallow' was spelled m-a-s-h-m-e-l-o, she threw a dictionary at him.
Who said words can't hurt you?

ONESHOT
"Hey, Percy, what do you think of this new chapter I wrote?" Annabeth asked a very bored Percy.
Percy dropped his ball of yarn that he was messing with, and strode over to Annabeth's desk.
"Hmmmm..." he scrunched up his face and pretended to criticize it.
"Your spelling is awful."
"I spelled everything correct!" Annabeth snapped.
"No. Look at the word 'marshmallow'. That's not how it's supposed to be spelt." Percy gestured towards Annabeth's notebook.
"Then how DO you spell it?" Annabeth sighed, giving up.
"It's spelled... M-A-S-H-M-E-L-O!" he smiled in that way teachers smile when they insist they're right.
"Idiot." Annabeth muttered and hurled a dictionary at him.
Percy, unfortunately, didn't dodge at the right moment, and he was smacked in the face.
"Owwww! Who was it that said words can't hurt? I'm going to sue them!" Percy whined as he cradled his head.
