Chapter 16 facts and dates

Donnies pov
" no way" I say in disbelief "why would I lie to you" April said. " so um ok I'm gonna go" I say while walking to the window " don't forget the date" she said. I walk home in complete Astonishment of what I've been told. She can't possibly like me, i mean jade is so perfect why would she even give me the time of day.

       Although I may be mad at April I have to admit this is the best plan for a date I've ever seen. I've never seen one before though so I can't really compare. But that's besides the point. Still a very strong plan.

Time skip to Friday~~~~~~
Jades pov
Today's Friday which means I'm suppose to meet April out side the lair, I am terrified what if I say the wrong thing. She says she planed the perfect date but I'm always jittery and I might talk a lot.

" guys I'm going out see you later" i shout, "sure sure" I hear Mikey sinker. I walk out the lair and see April, " come on you gonna love it " she says while leading me some where unknown. " I'm sure I will" I ensure her.

We walk to this absolutely stunning area behind one of the buildings. I see Donnie standing next to a chair reading some index cards. I chuckle softly he's so funny. " I'll leave you two to your picnic" she whispered and left not before I hugged her and thanked her.

" so studying some lines?" I asked while walking in with my hand behind my back. " more or less" he retorted, " so I'm guessing she either paid you or begged and pleaded for you to come on this date with me" I say swinging my arms and looking at the table. " what makes you think that, what if I came here out of genuine lust then what would you think" he asks "well I'd say your probably messing with me I mean have ya seen me I don't exactly take the crown in the beauty department, plus from what I've heard you have a thing for my red haired friend so in over all I'd say you came for curiosity" I finished my statement. " first off you stunning you make models jealous secondly I'm curious as to why me, not say I don't like you I mean I've liked you since I caught you" he worded perfectly.

"So you came because of me for real no lies" I say happily. " yes,to see if you really liked me because I've been trying to tell you that I've liked you since day one" he says while walking towards me. " why didn't you tell me that silly" I say and hug him. " because your a normal person " he said sarcastically. " shut up lets just enjoy the actual date like the stars or the food " I say " ok but I still have questions " ,"ask away" I said.

As we stare off into the night I feel eyes on us. " Donnie get up real quick " I say. "why " he asks " just do it real quick please" I say softly " ok" he says. I walk over to the bush and very quietly and grabbed April and Mikey out from behind it. " I'm gonna give you guys a good five seconds to get out from behind there" I say to the others. Like I predicted. " that was weird but helpful" Donnie say as I drop April and Mikey on the ground. " what are you four doing here first off second off April why would you tell the guys where we were?" I impatiently ask. " well ya see it's all Mikey's fault" she said.

" how so" I question, " well I told him and he told the guys and we wanted to see how it's going so we all came to check" she explained. " blondie how'd ya know we were watching you" Raphael asked " first off don't change the subject second off I just knew ok" I answered madly " now go home" I said.

I wanna finish my date." Fine " they said at the same time " April I tell you a bout it later" I say trying to cheer her up. She stuck her tongue out at the guys and left. " I feel like a mom, any way back to our date" I say pleased with myself." Uh sure back to my question " he says " ok but you gotta answer mine too " I said calmly.

  Time skip just a bit farther in the date~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No ones pov
     " haha ok but why was he even reading the comic" I ask between laughs. "He's Mikey who knows but if I'm being completely honest it actually helped" he said softly " ok I have a personal question you don't have to answer if you don't want to" said while laying in the small patch of grass with her, " go ahead good chance I'll answer" I said.

" did you like being a foster kid" he asked not trying to sound mean, " well I didn't like waiting for someone who would never come, but helping Bella with the kids made me feel good, but also sad because I had to see them leave I was still happy for them though" she said with care in her eyes."oh" he said then hugged her " the guys think of you as family and I'm sure April does to" he sAy trying to cheer her up.

   Jade was just giddy about having him go on this date. " so my turn" she said, " why don't you like April, but friend way" she said while eating the last pb&j. " I honestly just think I'm a bit mad at her because I saw her kissing Casey but right now I really don't care anymore I guess I should probably for give and forget" he said calmly while looking at the stars. " when you were younger did you ever go out at night and see the stars and make a wish" he asked

" of course" she added she still does till today her wish came true. He leaned over and planted a kiss on her cheek and they both blushed until jade cleared the silence. " wanna go home" she asked, " sure just one more I got I wanna show you" he remarked. Then took her to the top of his favorite build, " it beautiful" she states. The two stare at each other for what seems like hours but is only a few minutes. After a few more seconds jade leans in and kisses him.

   They fall to a shade of dark red and walk home hand in hand.
