Chapter 10

~Something Big- Shawn Mendes~

*Lynsey's POV*

December 22 

It's been about a few months since Megan had her miscarriage and things are finally back to normal. Which I'm glad but I know that Megan will carry this for the rest of her life. Megan and Aaron are as strong as ever. Matt and I are doing great as well. As for Alexis and Nash... they're not doing too great. Nash had cheated on Alexis with some girl who he didn't even know all because my sister is abstinent. The group is kind of falling apart mostly because almost everyone dropped out of MAGCon. Cameron and Nash still live together, Megan and I still live with Matt and Aaron, Alexis moved in with us ( in the guest house outside), Jack and Jack are getting super popular with their music, Our cousin barely talks to us anymore, Mahogany hardly reaches out to us either, there's been a lot going on with Carter, and Shawn has become super famous, with his own music and everything. 

Mine and my sister's 17th  birthday is coming up. In about two days. We were going to have a big party with everyone that we know but now we're not entirely sure about that because of what's going on between everyone. Nobody has heard from Taylor either. I run downstairs to see what everyone is up to.

Megan and Aaron are sitting on the couch talking and I see Matt and Alexis in the guest house.

I walk in.

"Yeah I think it would be a great Idea!" I hear my sister saying.

"Okay, we have to plan this fast. So you do all the food stuff and decorations and I will find Music and do the invite list. We have to do this quick. This is going to be a great party Lexis!" Matt says.

He runs out of the guest room and bumps into me.

"You didn't hear any of that did you?" He says.

"Nope not at all." I smile.

"Whew okay cool! I gotta go deal with some things, See you later Babe." He hugs me then runs away.

 "Okay then," I walk inside the guest house,"What was that about?" I ask my sister.

"Um, nothing. I have to go bye!" She runs out of the house.

I just sit there in confusion I shrug my shoulders and walk back to the main house.

"Hey, what's going on with Matt?" I ask Megan.

" I don't know, that's what I was just thinking about Aaron." Megan says.

"What happened with Aaron you guys were just here together." I say.

"He left with Matt when he came inside they got in the Jeep and left." Megan says.

"Hmm what about Lexis?" I ask.

"I don't know she met up with them outside."

We both sit there in confusion. 

A few hours later all of them come inside.

Matt sees us and hides bags behind his back.

"WOAH, THERE'S NOTHING HERE FOR YOU TO SEE!!" He screams.

They run to the guest house and close all of the blinds.

A few hours go by and Aaron and Matt come out at 11pm. 

"So we have big news for you guys!" Matt yells.

"Does it have to do with what you were doing in our sisters room today?" Megan says very jealous.

"Actually, yes. but we can't tell you what it is yet because it's a surprise. We need you to keep quiet though, so we know Lexis has been really upset lately and she needs some brightening up... so we got Shawn to come out and surprise her, but you can't tell her please." Aaron say.

"Oh my gosh you guys are really great!" Megan and I say.

"Well, I'm going to bed. Goodnight." Megan says.

"I'm gonna go to bed too." Aaron says and winks at Matt and goes upstairs.

"So I guess it's just me and you... So come with me."Matt said.

I got up and followed Matt outside to the Jeep and we both got in.

"Matt it's 11:30 what are we doing? Where are we going?" I ask.

"Just wait you'll see." He says.

We drive for about 40 minutes.

When we stop we're at the top of a hill with a bunch of Christmas lights. 

 There's a big screen with Lights and a video playing of Matt and I.

"Matt what is happening?" I say nervously.

He gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring box.

"Well, we've been together almost a year now Lynsey Moore and I have loved every minute of it. I know we're not old enough yet, but I want to ask you something special... Will You Marry Me? We'll wait until we're older, but I just wanted to ask because I love you so much and I never want to spend a minute apart from you. So will you?" He asks.

"OH MY GOSH MATTHEW LEE ESPINOSA! YES, OF COURSE!!!" I say as I start to tear up.

"Okay. I can't wait 'till the day I see you walking down the isle in a white dress getting ready to marry me." Matt says. 

We hug and I kiss him.

" I love you so much babe." I say.

We stay on the hill until the morning and when daybreak arrived we got in the jeep and drove back home. After a day of confusion yesterday afternoon I am no longer confused, because I found my way and my way is with Matthew Lee Espinosa.
