Chapter 13

*Lynsey's POV*

December 30

Nobody has heard from Aaron since he has left. It's only been five days but it's still really concerning. Taylor, Hayes, and Nash all went home for New Years so they could spend it with their family. Jack and Jack, Sammy,Matt, and Shawn are all still here. It's a little bit awkward with Jack and Alexis and I know why. She hasn't told Shawn and I don't think she plans on it either.

Matt and I have been so good to each other. I love the ring he got me so much. Not only is it beautiful but it shows how much he loves me. I love him so much. 

We're going to JC and Kian's for New Years. They're throwing some huge party. I'm too excited to be spending my First New Year's with Matt.

I look forward to kissing him when the countdown strikes 0.

I am going shopping with everyone so we can get New Years eve outfits.

Matt and I get in my Jeep.

Sammy, Jack and Jack, and Megan get in her Range Rover.

Alexis and Shawn get in her Cadillac Escalade.

We all meet at the mall. Us girls go into Chanel and go get a new bag. We all get new clutches.

Next we go into Nordstrom that's where we get our dresses from Megan gets a red, white, black colored rose dress. Alexis gets a black lace A-line dress. I get a plum colored skater dress.

Then we go get some Louboutins. Alexis gets cheetah print ones. I get nude ones and Megan gets red ones.

We meet up with the guys outside. They guys look like they've been out there for hours.

"Finally!" Sammy says as we walk out. 

"Oh come on we weren't in there for that long." Alexis says.

"Yes you guys were." Jack and Jack say laughing.

"Fine, well you guys don't get to see what we got." Megan says.

"Okay, it will be even more of a surprise." Matt says as he gets up at hugs me.

"What did you guys get?" Megan asks.

"WE GOT SOME NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" The Jacks and Sammy say as they run away.

Shawn has his arm around Alexis' waist and Matt is holding my hand.

Alexis gets up and grabs Shawn's hand.

"Shawn look frozen yogurt." They both get up and run to the froyo shop.

Matt and I walk over there.

"Maybe that's why they're so good for each other... because they both like food." Matt laughs.

"Ain't that the truth." I say Matt kisses my head.

All of us go and get some frozen yogurt.

When we finish we get up and get in our cars.

We get back home.

I unlock the door and sit on the couch. 

Alexis and Shawn go to the guest house and turn all of the lights out because it is time for bed.

Megan goes to her room and Sammy goes to his.

Jack and Jack go to the guest rooms they're staying in.

Matt sits on the couch with me and puts his arm around my shoulder.

"Ready to go to bed?" He asks looking deep into my eyes.

"Yep" We go upstairs and go to sleep.

December 31

^5:00PM^

We're all ready to go and we get in our cars and go to JC and Kian's house.

There is a lot of people at the party already.

The night goes by super slow.

After about two hours of being here I start talking to Kian.

I talk to Kian for a while. I've been texting him ever since I met him.

He's a pretty cool guy.

I hang out with Matt throughout the night as people come up to us and congratulate us on our engagement. 

The night goes by fast when Midnight starts coming up.  At 11:15 Matt and I make a meeting spot  for when the clock strikes 12. 

I look over at the karaoke and Alexis and Shawn are singing together, as always.

I look over at Megan and Sammy and they're sitting down drinking and laughing super hard. All of a sudden I hear everyone go "OHHHHH." I look over at the pool and I see Kian flipping off the roof of their house.

Kian makes it in the pool and he just gets out like no big deal and then everyone starts getting back to their own business.

I start talking to Kian again and it's around 11:55. 

"Hey, I have  to go find Matt." I say.

"No, Lynsey... I have to tell you something." Kian says.

"Okay, can you kind of hurry though?" I say.

"Sure. Well, I'm not the type to say this but Lynsey, ever since I met you I've felt a connection. I really like you. No, I think I might love you..." I stand there in shock.

"5...4...3...2...1...0!!!!!" I go to walk away from Kian to go get Matt but Kian pulls me around and Kisses me.

"I... I...I have to go." I say running away to find Matt. 

I look around and see Alexis and Shawn Kissing. They're so cute.

I see Megan and Sammy and they shared a small kiss.

I walk up to Matt and give him the biggest kiss I've ever given him.

"Hey, It's 12:01." Matt says.

"Sorry, I got caught up in the bathroom. Had to look nice." I say nervously.

The rest of the time we party away.

At about 3:00 AM everyone starts leaving.

Alexis is a little drunk so Shawn drives her home.

Megan and Sammy are drunker than Sailors. So is Jack Gilinsky.

Johnson drives them home.

Matt and I are sober and drive home. 

When we leave Kian stares at me the whole time we're walking away from the house.

I felt bad but this is what is best for me.

I love Matt.

We get home and I go and lay down in bed. I ear slow music turn on downstairs. That means Shawn and Alexis are slow dancing, yeah she's a little weird when she's drunk.

Megan can't even get up the stairs without falling and laughing super loud.

Matt comes and lays down with me and we fall asleep.

I can't help but think though...

Do I have feelings for Kian?
