Chapter 5

~ Paralyzed- Big Time Rush ~

*Shawn's POV*

" And last but not least, I sing, play the guitar, and the piano." I hear Alexis says.

This makes my heart beat 10x faster. She is amazing. I am going to try and build up the nerve to talk to her.  After a little bit of conversation with Taylor I decide to get up and talk to her.

" Hey, Alexis... Can I talk to you just for a minute?" I ask shyly. I'm definately not the type to just casually ask girls out... but I feel something for Alexis that I haven't felt before.

" Um.. Sure." Alexis said. She whispered something into Megan's ear and got up. I walked into the hall and she followed behind me.

" So..." I say awkwardly.

" Yeah?" Alexis says looking hopeful. 

" Um, Can I hear you sing?" I say. 

" I guess." She says looking disappointed.

She takes about a minute to pick a song. She chooses something great though. She chooses  'Sirens' by Cher Lloyd. Her voice fit the song perfectly. When she finishes the song I just stare at her in awe. She's amazing.

" Was I that bad?" She asks worried.

" No, that was amazing." I say snapping out of shock.

We stand there in silence for a minute. She steps closer.

" Can I hear you?" She finally says.

" Yeah.. Why not?" I say.

I sing 'Give Me Love' by Ed Sheeran. In the middle of the verse I'm singing I look at Alexis. She looks amazed. I stop singing and look at her.

" What?" She says blushing.

"Nothing it's just..." I say.

"Just what?" she asks.

I lift her chin up and lean in to kiss her. Our lips barely touch. She pulls away because Cam opens the door and starts yelling saying we need to go to bed for tomorrow.

Everyone starts piling out of the room and I just stand there. Watching Alexis walk away with her sisters. 

Jacob comes out.

" You okay, bro?" He asks.

" Yeah, sorry. I'm going to head to my room." after that I leave to my room. I keep thinking about Alexis and if we'll ever be anything.

* Alexis's POV *

 Oh. My. Gosh. What just happened? I think I almost kissed Shawn. Our lips touched, but barely... This is crazy. I mean it will never work... right?

When my sister's and I get to our room I hurry in and jump on the bed an hide my face in a pillow.

" Oh geeze. Are you starting this again?" Megan says jokingly.

I sit up and look at them worried.

"Oh no. What happened while you were out there?" Lynsey asks.

"It was nothing." I said trying to hide my face.

"YOU'RE LYING WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" Megan yells questioning.

"Oh my gosh. If you must know shawnkissedme." I say quickly so they can hardly understand me.

"Excuse me can you say that again?" Lynsey says mocking me.

"Shawn kissed me!" I yell.

"Oh my gahhh. YASSSS! I SHIP IT SOOO HARD!" Megan says.

"Can you quiet down Nash, Cam, and Tay are next door after all." Lynsey says.

That's when we hear a knock at the door.  I open it and Aaron is there.

* Aaron's POV * 

"Just go ask her out. It doesn't matter what Bart says. I'm going out with Mahogany. He doesn't know... That's just because we are on the DL though." Jacob says.

"Ok. I don't think she likes me though..." I say.

"AHAHA! Are you kidding? Did you see the way she acted around you? She only acts all shy and weird around the guys she likes." Jacob says laughing.

"Well that makes me feel 10x better." I say happilly.

"Just go over there, she's me cousin and if she says no... I'll talk her out of it." Jacob says laughing. "Just trust me she likes you." 

"Alright. I'll go." I said nervously. Then Jacob opened the door and pushed me out, locking the door after.

"Bro, Let me back in." I said knocking on the door.

"Not until you go over there and tell Megan you like her." Jacob yelled.

I walk over to the girl's room. I nervously knock on the door and Alexis opens it.

"Um, Is Megan here?" I ask.

"Hey! Megan your Bae is here." She says winking.

"Who?" Lynsey asks.

"Aaron" Alexis yells.

Megan walks over to the door. They're all in their Pajamas.

"Hey, Megs Can I talk to you in private?" I ask.

"Sure." She says walking out in the hallway and closing the door behind her. 

"What did you want to talk about?" She asks, she looks so adorable and comfortable.

"Um I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me... Tomorrow after rehearsals." I ask her.

Her face turns bright red.

"Yeah. That sounds great." She says happily.

"Okay then. I guess I will see you tomorrow at rehearsals." I say.

She opens her door and blushes.

"See you tomorrow Aaron" She closes the door. As I walk away I hear Alexis and Lynsey yell.

"Woohoo." As I hear that I smile uncontrollably.

This truly has been the best day of my life. I think I finally found the one.
