Chapter 8

* Alexis's POV *

" I'M SO DONE WITH THIS NASH! " I yell.

" Well maybe this wouldn't be happening, if you were here with me!" Nash yells.

" Oh, don't go blaming this on me! You obviously can't be in a steady relationship Nash. I'll see you when I see you. Which I hope will be never!" I say storming out of the house.

Just yesterday our relationship was fine. We were really happy. He Just had to go and ruin it. I came over this morning only to find Nash with another girl taking pictures kissing her on the cheek. It's been 5 1/2 months since Magcon. I just wish that everything would be the same as it was that day. It was the start of everyone's relationships. Everyone was happy. When we went up on that stage that day we were all cheered for by our guys. I am truly the only sister out of us all who has trouble with guys. My sisters are doing just fine with Matt and Aaron. I am happy for them obviously, but I just wish that I could be happy for once.

As I drive back to the airport I realize I did have a chance to be happy... with Shawn.

I get hundreds of phone calls from Nash and Cam. I refuse to answer them though. He hurt me. I'm always scared to get to close after what happened to my Dad. I should've known...

I get a call from Cam only knowing what to expect. I came to visit Nash whenever I had time. I should have known, I mean we live so far apart...

"Hello?" I ask straightening my voice.

"Hey, Lexis, It's Cam." he says.

"I know I do have caller ID." I say laughing. My voice still strained from tearing up.

"Oh yeah. Listen please come back. He has a lot of explaing to do. Trust me you'll want to hear this..." He says.

"OK. Honestly I didn't have anywhere to go I was driving to the airport to change my ticket." I say.

"Alright see you in about an Hour... Drive Safe." He says.

I hang up the phone and start driving back to Nash and Cam's place.

While I'm driving I start thinking.

*Flashback*

It's our turn to perform. I'm so nervous.

We run up on the stage.The crowd cheers us on, mostly because were Jacob's cousins. I see the guys at all of their little stations and they're all smiling. It gives me cold chills knowing that these people are actually going to hear us sing. Today, as always, I am the lead singer. They are playing and singing backup for me. I take a deep breath... I have always had a little bit of stage fright. I stand there waiting for them to start playing. We start playing 'Invincible' by Kelly Clarkson. I begin singing and I just zone out. We play a couple more song for the crowd and when we finish everyone is cheering. I automatically look over at Shawn to see his reaction. He is smiling from ear to ear. I smile and we wave to the crowd. That is one of the most exhilarating things I've done in a while. I run over to Nash and Hug him, for some reason I really wanted to go over to Shawn... but I didn't want Nash to be mad. 

"You did really good, Bae." Nash says supporting us.

"Thanks my Nash Potato!" I hug him again.

Lynsey and Matt are standing next to each other. They are holding hands. They are hiding so Bart doesn't see. I look over at Aaron and Megan, Megan is staring at Aaron and they hug like the cuties they are. My sisters are growing up so fast. This is the best day of our lives literally. I keep having the urge to go over to Shawn.
