Brigid- Well what the bloody hell do we do?
Albus- We could always call Professor Flitwick and ask him to help?
Brigid- Well, if you really want to be landed in detention for a month, or maybe even a year, you go and ask. But I'm not coming with you.
There is a silence as the four of them think to themselves of how to help Molly.
Elsa- I think I know what we can do.
Brigid- What?
Elsa- It'll be risky- definitely, but it's worth a shot.
Philip- What? Tell me!
Elsa- Well you know see that old broom there?
Elsa points towards an ancient dusty broom meant for cleaning.
Brigid- Elsa, there is NO way on earth we can ride that thing! We'll kill ourselves!
Elsa- Oh, but Brigid, you're an expert flyer!
Brigid- Well yeah, I'm an expert flyer when I'm riding my Firebolt200- NOT a cleaning broom.
Philip- Same thing.
Elsa- Look Brigid, please? What happened to never backing out of a challenge? Well, if you don't want to do it, I will.
Elsa grabs hold of the broom and gets herself ready for take-off.
Elsa- (to herself) Okay, I've never done this before, but I'll be fine, honestly, I'll be fine. Heights never bothered me anyway...
Albus- Stop it, Elsa.
Elsa- (annoyed) Albus, I'm fine! I can do this all by myself.
Albus- Elsa, you don't need to fly that broom.
Elsa- (sarcastic) Oh really, and how else will we save Molly?
Brigid mutters to herself, lost in concentration. Suddenly, she jumps up, her eyes alight: she has had an idea.
Brigid- I know what to do! I know what to do! I know what to do! OhmygoshIcan'tbelievewedidn'tthinkofthisbefore
Philip- What did you say?
Brigid- Elsa, your ice powers! You don't need a wand for your ice powers. All you need to do is create a bridge or staircase made of ice leading from this window to the magic carpet. It's really quite simple.
Elsa- YES! Of course!
Albus- Will it work?
Elsa- It should, I did this all the time when I was a kid- I created a bridge between Anna's turret bedroom* and mine- before we fell out, of course.
Right, here goes.
Elsa takes a deep breath, then gets to work. Snowflakes dance and twirl and spin around the room, until with a flick of her hand, Elsa merges them together to create a staircase of ice.
Albus- Wow!
Brigid- That was sooo cool!
Philip- (mock excitement) Can I get your autograph? Pretty please...
Elsa shoots him a look of annoyance, which gets him to shut up.
Elsa- (shouting) MOLLY, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO CROSS THE BRIDGE BY YOURSELF?
Molly- (trembling) I-I don't think so.
Elsa- Okay, I'm coming for you!
Elsa leaps onto the staircase and bounds over to Molly, who is shivering from both the coldness and from fear.
Molly- I c-can't do this.
Elsa- Sure you can, you're a Gryffindor, after all! Just hold onto me.
Molly takes Elsa's hand. Elsa then begins to lead Molly to safety.
Molly- N-noooooo, I'm going to fall, I'm going to fall, I'm going to fall.
Elsa- No you won't, you'll be fine!
They are a few metres away from the window. Brigid and Albus are leaning out the window, ready to take hold of Molly's hand and bring her to safety.
Philip- I can hear footsteps!
Albus- Elsa, quick! Get rid of that staircase!
As speedy as a Golden snitch, Elsa climbs off of the staircase and is soon surrounded by a whirlwind of snowflakes. But there isn't enough time...
Ten seconds later, the door to the classroom is flung open. Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall come storming into the room, absolutely furious. Bringing up the rear is Rose, who has a look of smugness written on her pretty face. She mouths "someone's in trouble" to Elsa, then changes her expression to look concerned.
Rose- You see, Professors? I tried stopping them, but it was far too difficult: the second I had my back turned, Elsa had flown poor Molly out the window and there was no stopping her. Elsa's a Princess, you see, and I guess being royal means she thinks that she can just do whatever she likes.
Professor McGonagall stirdes over to the window and peers outside.
Professor McGonagall- Miss Weasley, whatever do you mean? I don't see a carpet in sight.
Rose- What?
Rose leans over the windowsill and gasps loudly. Her face quickly changes from pink to red as she realises what an embarrassing situation she has got herself into.
Rose- But wait... Where did Molly go?
Molly scrambles out from under her desk, a scowl on her face.
Just before the door was opened, Elsa, Brigid, Philip, Molly and Albus were able to head back to their seats and look as though they were completely innocent.
Professor McGonogall- As you can see for yourself, Miss Arendelle has been sitting here the whole time, practising levitating a feather. Magic carpet indeed! As if a first year student would be able to do such a thing! Next you'll be telling me that Miss Arendelle has a pet dragon.
Rose- What? B-but I don't understand.
Professor Flitwick- Well I understand perfectly, and it seems as if Miss Weasley was attempting to get her fellow Gryffindors into trouble.
Professor McGonagall- I'm afraid, Miss Weasley, I am going to have to give you a detention.
Rose- WHAT??!!
More coming soon! :) :D Hope that you enjoyed this chapter!
*Okay, I know that in "Frozen", Anna and Elsa shared a room when they were young, but for this version they they each have a separate turret bedroom
