Marcella's POV
"Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, has died this morning." I was on the phone with my mom when I heard that. I was 40 years old, and my son was three. His name is Marcellus Davis Presley-Carter. I hung up and I sat down my head buried in my heart and I started crying.

This is how, Elvis and I became intertwined
April 5, 1960
"Mother, when are we going to see him?"
"He just got comfortable last month, he could be making music still, darling you have to be considerate."
"It wouldn't happen to be me who you're talking about? Right?" I turned around and there he was.
"Good morning Mr. Presley, how are you today?"
"I'm well." He said and smiled. It was the first time I'd ever seen him but I felt that it wouldn't be the last.
"I'm sorry for being so rude, honey, what's your name?" He asks and I smiled.
"My name is Marcella." He embraced me in a hug and kissed my cheek.
"You're a beautiful girl Marcella." He said and gave me two numbers and an address.
"Call me at 5, tonight." He said and waved at my mother.
"You have a beautiful sister." He said and mom laughed.
"You're funny, she's my daughter." She said and they shook hands and parted ways.
Elvis's POV
She reminds me of Priscilla. Her beautiful brown hair, and oh those eyes. I loved her sense of style and the way she respected her mother. She was beautiful. Marcella and Priscilla. As five o'clock struck I waited by the phone.
5:10 the phone rang. I picked up and she breathed quickly.
"Hello, I'm Marcella Rylan."
"Hey Celly, what's up dear?"
"I just returned home. Momma wanted to know if you'd like to come for dinner tonight."
"Of course, what time?"
"Seven, Mr. Presley."
"Darling, how old are you?"
"I'm 24, Mr-"
"You can call me Elvis dear, it's alright."
"I'm sorry. I just didn't want to be like a groupie. I hope you can make it tonight." She gives me the address and hangs up.
7:00 sharp!
I arrive at this beautiful home. It's not too small, or too big, it's perfect. I knock on the door, I hope I'm not too underdressed. I'm in a denim shirt and jeans, black boots, and my guitar is on my back. I knock on the door and hear somebody run from the stairs. Celly's in my face and she smiles. She's in her blue jeans, and an white shirt.
"Nice to see you, are you hungry?" She asked.
"Always." She smiled and grabbed my hand. We sat on the living room couch as she took my guitar and laid it on her lap.
"I got mine for my 20th birthday." She said and looked at me, and smiled,"It was a gift from my uncle." She sighed and I smiled.
"I'll sing you a song, but you have to play the song I'm singing."
"Sounds good."
"Warden threw a party at the county jail-" we sang together for the next two minutes and she looked at me with a smile. I chuckled at the ways her eyes lit up.
"What?" She asked and I moved the guitar from her lap.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Of course." She said.
"You don't have any kids, right?"
"No... I haven't even- ya know.." I nodded. Her mother walked in and we looked at her.
"Smile kids." She said and we did. She chuckled and looked at the picture. I signed the back of it and she stood up again.
"Can I show you something." She asked and I nodded. She led me upstairs and into a room. It was full with records and 45s. I kissed her on her cheek and she smiled.
"Can we listen to something?" I asked and she nodded.
"I love Nat King Cole, and The Christmas Song." She admitted and put it on. I wrapped her in my arms and we rocked back and forth. There was this feeling going through our bodies. She looked at me one last time and the song ended. She turned off the record player and held my hand on the way back down.
.Dinner
"So Celly, do you have any brothers or sisters?"
"I have a older sister on my dad's side. I haven't met her yet. Do you?"
"I had a twin brother, he was a still born, named Jesse." She nodded and we ate our food in peace.
"Mother, may I be excused?" She asked and Mrs. Rylan nodded. She stood up and walked upstairs.
"Hey Mrs. Rylan, is she going to be okay?"
"Yes of course, she just gets really emotional about her sister. She gets pictures sometimes but not often. She's an aunt, and she's missing out on her baby's life. It's odd, if you want to check on her go ahead." She said and I stood up and followed the sound I had heard earlier. I ended up in her room. She was laying down and I smiled.
"Darling, I want you to be happy. Where does your sister stay?"
"Santa Cruz, California. Her name is, Marisol Damonia, she's 30." I nodded.
"How bad do you want to meet her?" I asked and she sat up.
"I can't ask you to do that."
"You didn't ask me, how bad do you want to meet her Celly?"
"Almost as bad as I wanted to meet you. She said and she kissed me. We laid down and made out a lot more. She pushed her head back and then pushed me off her.
"Thank you, I don't want to lose it just yet, can we just wait... Just for a little while." I kissed her beautiful skin again and I picked her up.
"I want you to be my girl, let's try it."
"Elvis, ask on the third date. You know I want to say yes."
"Then we will. I'm here for you. Call your sister, tell her you're coming next week." I said and she kissed me.
"I'm going to head out, darling." I said and I hugged her. I walked out of the house and back to the car.
