Syed stood next to Phoenix and Lisa Chang at the station, with Dorian licking the back of his paw closely behind. Lisa Chang was another girl who lived in their neighborhood, and was also a witch. Her long black hair contrasted with Phoenix's short, light brown hair. But like Phoenix, Lisa was also dreading going back to Hogwarts. They thought of Hogwarts much like Muggle children thought of school. Their faces seemed like they were ready for torture. Meanwhile, Syed's face was brightened with the happiness he could barely contain within himself.

"Shall we?" Syed said, with eagerness covering his voice.

"I guess..." Lisa replied, looking glum, with her back hunched over.

"Youngest first, Phoenix," Syed said, gesturing to Phoenix.

"Ugh okay..." Phoenix grabbed her trolley and ran at the wall, but as she was running, a tall, black haired man holding a phone, walked into her path. BAM! The man fell to the ground as the trolley hit him in the stomach, the trunks falling off the trolley. Phoenix was lifted over the trolley because of her adrenaline and fell over onto the man. Their cheeks smushed against each other. The man suddenly sat up, Phoenix now positioned on his lap. The man looked confused. Syed noticed something black in the man's pants bulging as he sat up. Syed only caught a glimpse of it, since he was immediately distracted from what resulted from the crash.

Phoenix put her arm around the man's neck and pulled his face closer a bit. "Hey handsome," She said as she bit her lip.

"Phoenix get off of him!" Syed hollered as he ran to the strange site.

The man's face was puzzled. "Can you get off of me, girl?"

"I don't know, but you can make me get off on you for sure," Phoenix said, staring into his eyes.

Meanwhile, Lisa was on the ground laughing hysterically.

Syed ran over and pulled Phoenix off of the man. She put up a struggle, but it was no use, because Syed had been drinking his milk lately.

The man stood up, dusting off his fresh looking khakis.

"I'm sorry...Jake," Syed said, looking at the nametag clipped on his pants.

The man gave Syed and Phoenix an angry face and walked off.

"That was the highlight of my day," Phoenix said, as if she had taken a love potion.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, it was also the highlight of mine," Lisa said, not containing her laughter.

"Shuttup, we were meant to be, okay?" Phoenix said.

"Guys we have one minute till the barrier closes," Syed said, worried. He looked around at his things. "Wait...where's Dorian?!?!?!" He looked back at the man, walking away. Syed could make out the tail of his beloved cat showing from the side of the man's arm. "HEY YOU! STOP RIGHT THERE!" Syed wrapped his fingers around his wand, but hesitated to whip it out since there were Muggles watching.  Suddenly, the man Apparated.

Lisa patted Syed on the back, "There's nothing you can do...let's go Syed."

Syed fought back tears. There really was nothing he could do right now. Since Syed thought logically and reasonably, he quickly got his things and ran at the wall.

Syed sat at the back of the train, alone. Staring out the the window, in deep thought. This day was going worse than he had imagined. Right then, a girl about 5'4" with brown hair walked in, Mikaela Scott. Syed had taken Transfiguration with her First Year. He had turned her into a goat for a project, and ever since, she had been obsessed with goats. Other than that, they had only been acquaintances.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah...I guess," Syed replied, sighing.

"Really? You sure you don't want to talk about it?" Mikaela asked, knowing he was in no way okay.

"Well..." Syed went on to vent on about his day, beginning with the flashback, which he told her was only a nightmare. He couldn't reveal that much of his thoughts to anyone. But he did get caught up in his moment of weakness, so he told her everything.

Neither of them knew, this was the beginning of a glorious friendship.
