Chapter one
Pain
as soon as I woke up, the first thing I usually do, is check my phone for a text from Daniel. Danny is my boyfriend in case your wondering. But not anymore. Not since what's happened.
2 weeks ago..
I sat next to danny's hospital bed, reading my magazine, and occasionally checking to see if Danny was ok. As I was about to go get some coffee, I heard a bleep. Danny's heart monitor. I ran over to him. "Danny!!" I shouted, shaking him. he stared at me, hyperventilating. "what's happening Milly ?" he asked.
"I don't know, but stay with me Danny, don't close your eyes" I screamed. He looked up at me. "am I dying now mills?" he said. "NO!!" I shouted. He looked away. "NURSE!" i yelled down the corridor. No-one came. Danny took my hand and said "Milly, I'm dying. Stay strong baby, I'll see you in heaven. Even when I'm gone from this earth, I'll be in your heart always. I love you" and with
that he closed his eyes. And I knew he was never gonna open them again. "DANIEL!!!" I screamed, crying as hard as I could. "no, don't leave me!" the nurses ran in and said "Honey, he's gone". I shook my head at them. "He wouldn't just leave me here alone" I cried. They looked sympathetically at me. I curled up into a ball and screamed and cried. I must have fallen asleep because when I woke up, my daniel was gone. My beautiful, perfect, amazing Daniel. Gone. Forever
