Backstory: Shingen used to be a regular human and a Sonic fan. Throughout most of his life, he usually spend time on the internet, learning English to communicate with the Sonic fandom since it was less popular in Japan. But, his normal life didn't last long once he was kidnapped by someone, who turned out to be Mana from M.M.R. Originally intending to make the first male Nikke, Mana was originally frustrated at seeing how her hypothetical results always ended up resembling Metal Sonic, his favorite character from the franchise. However, she then saw the potential and proceeded, turning Shingen into a Badnik with Nikke components.
Labeled as unit "K-CD", Missilis Industries tried to make him into one of their most powerful Nikkes while simultaneously researching about his abilities, since obviously they didn't know who Metal Sonic is, nor his abilities. Unfortunately, he was quick to learn the dark secrets about the Ark. Taking K, the first Nikke he made friends with, with him, Shingen renamed himself as "Kaiser Metal Sonic", choosing to only fight for what he desires.
