The plan

Who is this damned shadow? And how would it consume my essence? Is it even possible to consume somebody's essence? What is the plan of Count Ambrossio and Princess Isadora—no, Princess Iolanda? Why do I always want to call her Isadora? I have some kind of head problem for sure. How did I land in these deep waters? All I wanted was a leisure, stable life, and I got this action soap opera where a mad princess is jealous of me because some mad Count adopted me as his daughter when he is barely a bit older than I am.

And if to this point the story is not way too strange, a demonic unknown shadow is hunting to consume my essence, and I am not sure what essence means, but I envision it as being my soul, and it scares me, even if I do not know that such a thing is possible, or even if the soul exists, or even if I have one.

Not speaking that I doubt the possibility of such action in general, but it still scares me to test out the possibility of it occurring. But I am more scared of the fact that the mad Count with his madder princess lover are planning something for me. I did like the Count—he is eye candy—but suddenly I consider my self-preservation above my heart's and other parts' desires, so I am going to ditch all romantic dreams and plans I developed for him and try hard to forget that divine kiss with him on the night after the ball.

It was a sound plan before sleep, and Sha decided it was sufficient for now. Tomorrow she would go to the library and try to find more about shadows and ways to banish them. Her eyes closed, and a sweet dream welcomed her, where the dark prince from before welcomed her into his realm. She wanted to scream, but her lips were sealed by sleep.
