Lost and Found

The loud gun shot was heard. It startled Chen, his staff nearly falling out of his hands. He clutched it to his chest and left a powerless green ninja in the middle of the empty arena. The power hungry man didn't take long to find his lifeless daughter on the ground along with his guards chuckling and cheering.

"S-Skylor!" He gasped and ran over, the staff falling from his hands. He leaned down and sputtered loudly, not knowing what to say as his unloyal guards stepped away. He teared up a bit while holding Skylor in his arms. "You did this...." He growled under his breath. Chen carefully laid Skylor back down and yanked Krait's hand gun from his belt. With just a few pulls on the trigger, they were down. Chen fell to his knees once again beside Skylor, staring at the blood splatters around him.

Nya peeked out from behind a tree and stared in horror. Garmadon appeared beside her and stared at Chen who was mourning over his daughter's death. "I-I can't believe it." He murmered quietly. "We could have stopped this.." Nya said and covered her mouth. Both were so stunned that they didn't notice a stranger picking up Chen's staff and making a run for it towards the temple.

Chen didn't notice his staff was missing either as he carried Skylor back to the temple. "Master Chen..I-" Clouse stopped and stared at the father who's eyes were filling up with tears once again. "W-who...did this.."

Lloyd sighed weakly, not used to the feeling of being powerless. He heard someone approaching him. A helping hand suddenly reached down in front of Lloyd. The green ninja looked up and smiled. "Zane!"
