~DREAMING OF YOU~ A PLANYMPHIA FANFIC

Authors Note!

Hey guys! It seems so weird now that the series is over. I've been writing for pretty much a year now and I don't regret it one bit. I'm gonna separate these parts into little sections so without further discussion let's begin!

WHY I WROTE THIS AND HOW?
I kinda joined the RPDR fandom when season 14 was released and I've never really looked back. My first inspirations were Willow pill and Bosco. Something about them was so appealing and different than a lot of queens. When season 16 came out, I started fangirling over the whole Nymphia x Plane ship. I've fangirled over things like this before though like Angeria x Camden, Ivy x Jinkx, and even Nio x Ork from the Boulet Brothers Dragula. I guess as a hopeless romantic I needed something to temporarily sedate me so I wouldn't yearn for love in the big outside world. So I looked at a fanfic that was of Nymphia and Plane and it was called "Good luck, Babe" (yes like the Chappell roan song) and the author was planymphias (go read it it's amazing). So that's what kinda kicked off the whole wattpad era. I also saw some other fanfics in the RPDR fandom that were on wattpad that inspired me.

THE START.
Starting a fanfic was kinda hard in my opinion. There was a hundred different ideas I had for this thing. I originally wrote the start to be set in Taiwan because of Nymphia and Plane's little travel stop there in December 2023. I also had ideas of chapters that would involve Nymphia's mom and also ones that would involve Plane's dad, but those got lost in my writing ideas. If there's one chapter that was in the early stages and might just be my overall favorite was Chapter five. At the time I wrote it, I was obsessed with the song "The moment I knew" by Taylor swift and I wanted to make a chapter about it. I think Nymphia's curiosity, despair, and sadness were corresponded well to the song. I loved the buildup to it aswell. In the earlier chapters you can see Nymphia talk about her birthday party and as a writer it was so fun to see people not know what was about to come in the future especially when it's big. Overall, it was amazing.

BLOCKS AND SLUMPS
I had a lot of fun writing, but I also had a lot of stress. When I started writing, it was the end of school and I had all the time in the world to write chapters. When school came around for me, assignments started flowing in and it felt like school was taking over my life sometimes. I was always telling myself "# amount of days before Friday, you can do this" which wasn't good. I shouldn't have felt that stressed during the times I could've had fun. I also had a lot of drama with my friends this year. I had to be there for one of my friends when they were suicidal not once, but twice (she's alive still and is doing much better). I felt like I was in a tv show that had 100+ episodes that had different names but the same plots. I also had crushes only 2 but one of them was more of an obsession that just a crush. Even to this day I still like him, but I think it's better for me to wait till next year to flirt. After all, he's wasn't in any of my classes. I added him on Snapchat once and he added me back, we snapped for a bit and then he blocked me lmao. But I'm unblocked so HOORAY🥳! If there's one thing that I struggled with the most it was slumps. Sometimes I would write two sentences and call it a day. Which was NOT actual writing. But hopefully if I make a new story, i won't have as many of those. Which leads me to my next section.

FUTURE PLANS?
I'm gonna be honest with you guys. I have had a million ideas on what I wanna do after this and the truth is I have no clue. I've thought of making a sequel or a spinoff. Maybe a whole different fanfic or just don't write at all. I have a rough idea of what I want to do though. I might do one shots which I think would work perfectly with me if that's something you guys would want? I have a lot of fun making little stories and big stories so my mind is all over the place. But if you guys have any ideas let me know!
