Jasmine De Leon
"I'm sure it will not be that bad. He is just a troubled boy, that's all. I'm sure he will appreciate your help." Luna's soft voice mumbles from next to me. We walk through the corridors of the school, the chilly winter breeze swaying in between our hair.
"Oh come on Luna, you have heard of all the trouble he has caused." I say, "The only things we hear about him are how he broke someone's bone in a fight." I give her a knowing look.
I felt horrible saying stuff like these about him. I don't even know him, I shouldn't be judging like this—but I just can't help it. The paranoia just gets to me.
I have been asked by the headmaster himself to tutor Mattheo on basically every single subject, and there is no way I was going to say no to Dumbledore. I don't want him to have a bad insight of me, not when we're a year and a half away from graduating.

"Yeah, but I'm sure he will be nice to you. Besides, if he bothers you in any way, you can just leave and go tell Dumbledore, that way you'll never tutor him again." Her soft smile makes me smile too despite my nerves.
I sigh and roll my shoulders, trying to shake off the tension in my body.
"That's true, I suppose. He might not even show up anyway." I mumble as we reach the big doors of the library, my anxiety going higher up.
"This is what you do best, Jasmine. Teach people and make them reach their full potential. You will be alright." Her words make my heart race at the love they carry. I hook my arm around her shoulders and kiss the side of her head.
"Thank you Luna, I love you. I'll see you later, yeah?" I tell her before I start walking backwards to enter the library, her delicate hand waving at me before
