Pretty much a character build up for reader for later chapters. None of these chapters are linked together unless I say they are!
"Hey Warren." Max saw Warren sitting at the bus stop and couldn't help her curiosity get the best of her so she approached him. He'd been sitting on the bench all day. It started to worry Max. Its been a few weeks since the entire Rachel Amber thing and Max noticed that Warren has been distant ever since. Yet...he was still happy and himself. It made her ponder if he had moved on from his feelings for her.
And now he's been waiting on that bench checking his phone every five minutes all day and no one knew why.
"Oh, hey Max." He said passively, as if he barely saw her. He kept his eyes on his phone.
"What are you doing?" She asked, her curiosity was not satisfied. She sat next to him.
"Um, waiting for someone." He awkwardly answered with a smile, twiddling his thumbs.
"Oh." She said. Was it her business to ask who he was waiting for? "For who?"
Apparently it was.
"...my girlfriend." This took her by surprise.
"Oh really?" She asked without thinking.
"Yeah," He awkwardly chuckled. "She's going to be a new student at Blackwell " He quietly added.
"What's she like?" Max asked. She felt a little hurt that he no longer liked her. She always felt flattered when he would make a cheese joke and try to convince her into a date somehow. But now that was over.
An even bigger smile appeared on his face.
"Well she's a total geek, loves video games and classic movies. She's a simple girl but she's also really deep and has meaningful feelings. Its hard to explain." He dreamily continued.
This shocked Max. He never talked like this.
"Oh, she sounds so cool. What brought her to Blackwell?" Max continued, wanting to hear more about her.
What she meant by bringing her to Blackwell means what subject is she a major in. Warren is a major is science and Max is skilled in photography.
"Mathematics ." Max never understood math. Honestly, she was horrible at it. But apparently Warren's girl was best at one of the most complicated subjects.
"Whats her name anyway?" Max asked her final question. Throughout this entire conversation she hasn't even catches what his girlfriend's name was.
"Her na-"
"Warren!" A squeal was heard from across the quad.
And there you were, your hair up in a messy bun and oversized sweatshirt. Besides the thrown together look- your leggings showed off your curvy legs and without makeup you were a natural beauty. You dropped your bags and your old beat up (f/c) sneakers hit the dirt fast. You had a bright smile on your face as you ran up to your boyfriend-your straight teeth showing off proudly due to three years of braces. In other words (more like words of boys) you were hot. No one would have thought you were Warren's girlfriend.
He stood up and flashed his adorable grin at you as jumped into his open arms and berated his face with kisses. This threw him off guard when you pulled away and giggled at his expression and hugged him again.
"I missed you." You smiled into his chest.
"I missed you too." He returned the hug and put his chin on top of your head. He was fairly taller than you. Its been two weeks without him and you missed him a lot. The scent of his cologne drifted past you nose as you hugged him.
You two broken apart and Warren looked behind him and gave Max a embarrassed smile. Max only amusingly smiled.
"Max, this is (y/n)."
