I smile as I catch a glimpse at my reflection in the mirror. The eyeliner accentuating my green eyes perfectly and the gold eye shadow above sparkling on my beautiful chocolate coloured skin. My lips in a simple natural rose tone as my cheekbones are underlined with a darker shade of red.
Still smiling brightly I leave the bathroom just to run into my big brother whose home for the weekend. I mutter a short excuse as I need to be quick with dressing since Em and her sister would be here soon but Jackson thwarts my plan.
"What's with all the heavy make up?" He asks with a dangerously low voice. "You're not meeting that good-for-nothing again? Is that why you're all spiffed up?"
A sigh escapes my lips as I pull my arm from his hand. "No I'm not meeting with Calum. Actually, me and the girls are going out tonight. Mum already knows."
Without saying another word I storm off into my room. As if I would dress up for Calum.
Ten minutes later I'm in my outfit for tonight which consist of my favourite yellow skirt and a short white top leaving a stripe of skin showing off. Since all of that looks a little bit too cute to fit me I top it off with my dark blue leather jacket and my pair of converse matching the jacket in colour.
I smile at my reflection one last time before I leave my room and run down the stairs as I hear honking from outside.
"Where are you going in a short skirt like that?" I hear a deep voice just before I can push the handle of the door down.
"Out." I snarl at my brother.
"I don't think so. You shouldn't wear such short clothing when you're going out. Guys will get the wrong idea."
"Oh really? I don't care, I like my outfit." I huff at him. "Those boys better should behave because I have a damn taser in my bag and I won't hesitate to use it on horny guys who can't control their urges. How I dress is not the cause or excuse of their actions."
With that I leave the house, slamming the door behind me. Now I really finally need to get out, pour some drinks and let go. I've been so stressed lately.
An hour later I'm already dancing with my friends in a club downtown. Moving my hips to the beat blasting through the room and screaming out the lyrics with my girls here and then. After a while I excuse myself from my girlfriends to go to the toilet and fetch something more to drink.
Luckily for once there isn't a crowd in the girl's restroom so I leave the toilet after a short while without any waiting. I shortly check my make-up and outfit before going back into the big room with the dance floor and the bar.
At the bar it's rather busy. A mob of girls is blocking most of it and I make out some cheerleaders from my school so I choose to make my way through at the corner of the bar where there aren't so many girls.
While waiting for my drink I glance over what the fuss is all about and when I see it I internally sigh. Why can't I be lucky for just one time? Why must I see him even in my free time now?
I hope he just doesn't see me. What am I thinking? He definitely won't see me with all those barbies around him and his pals. I calm down as I turn back to lean against the bar waiting for my cocktail.
I smile at the cute bartender as he puts my drink down in front of me before I go to pull my wallet out of my purse.
"I will pay for her drink and two shots of Tequila please." I hear a deep voice behind me before I already feel a body press against mine as the guy with the way too familiar voice bends over me to hand the barkeeper the banknote.
I take my drink and turn around just to be met with whom I dreaded to see.
"Hello princess." He grins down at me and I can't help but huff. Can't I even get one fun evening off?
"Hi Calum, thanks for the drink but I think I have to go find my friends now." I state wanting to walk away already but he grabs me by my elbow and pulls me back on one of the barstools.
"They're over there dancing and fine." He says while pointing to where I left them. Damn I hoped I would get away like that but seems like it won't be that easy.
"Okay Calum, what are you doing over here?" I ask him in a sigh. "You're playmates are all shooting me looks like they will come over any moment and break my neck."
He laughs at my comment even though that wasn't a joke. The mostly blonde plastic dolls shoot me glares as if I just threw away all their make up or made a scratch in their new pink VW beetle.
"Maybe I really liked the talk we had last time. Also c'mon Ally what should they do to you?" He asked amused as he watched me eye the girls warily.
"Scratch my eyes out with their perfectly sharp manicured nails?! You don't even seem to get how dangerous those can be." I state as I take a sip of my cocktail and shoot the barkeeper a sigh as he puts down two shots beside Calum and me.
"Oh trust me, I know how sharp their nails can be." He states cockily as he pushes one tequila into my hand and takes the other. "Now drink up princess."
"Eww, you're nasty." I screech before I take the orange from the glass and drown the shot before biting into the fruit.
"Is that you're attempt of talking dirty?" He asks me with raised eyebrows and lets out a laugh.
Okay I've had enough of him laughing at me and I've already got enough alcohol in my system to be confident enough for anything. So I lean forward, resting my hand dangerously high on his thigh as I bring my lips close to his ear.
"Trust me Cal, you would know if I was talking dirty to you." I purr as my lips touch his ear with every word.
"Okay and now I'm gonna enjoy myself and dance some with my friends." I state in a joyful voice as I lean back and stand up.
"Thanks for the drinks." I yell over my shoulder before I vanish into the crowd leaving him startled.
An hour later I'm stumbling out the venue giggling as I do so. The whole world was spinning and I was feeling funny.
The cold air instantly cooled my heated body down a bit and I sigh. Before I can get to the much anticipated wall to support my wobbly legs I stumble into someone causing me to fall backward onto the dirty ground.
"Ouch." The fall kinda really hurt.
"Sorry, c'mon I'll help you up." I hear yet again that familiar voice but I don't object as he pulls me up to my feet.
"Damn that was my favourite skirt." I curse as I see the dark stains on my yellow skirt while stumbling back a bit nearly falling again.
"Ally, are you drunk?" I huff and shoot him a glare. "Am not."
"Oh yes you are." He laughs but before I can object again I feel sick and empty my stomach into the next bush I find.
"C'mon I'll bring you home."
