[Chapter Size: 1800 Words.]
Third Person POV
Somewhere unknown.
...
...
"I understand..." the dark voice said, while the Dark Lord, cloaked in his dark cape, hid his face in that dim room in his castle after receiving a visit with some strange information.
Information that could lead him to consider that the Black family was indeed betraying them...
"Dark Lords then... they are our enemies...?" the member of the Lestrange Family asked cautiously, having gone to meet the Dark Lord right after leaving the Blacks' house.
"Astraea has been behaving strangely different in the past few months. She sold the shop to that one who's been hunting noble families and defying us. I'll have to see her personally about this. And, if she really is joining the enemy, she and her family will pay. It doesn't matter if they are powerful pure-blood members or not in the magical society," he spoke with a dangerous tone.
He had obviously tried to gather information about the mysterious alchemist, but the Black family was under the goblins' magic, and obviously, they couldn't break the contract. Even if he tried to force it, it was useless.
After the goblins and Astraea herself cast the spell on their own family members, the Lord felt there was something there that intrigued him.
"So... you said that this... Severus Snape was there? With Dracula's daughter and Astraea's granddaughter?" he said, seeming truly surprised to hear that.
"Yes. You must have heard of Severus Snape. A half-blood who has been defying many noble families since last year. But no one has been able to deal with them..." the man said.
"Yes, I remember him. A few times... from that time when Abraxas Malfoy wanted to recruit him, saying he was a good alchemist. And I even became interested, even though the Rosier family wanted to kill him. But it's still surprising that you find him with the Black family and seeming quite at ease.
Something feels very strange. The Black family would never grant such freedom to a half-blood. What is going on?" Voldemort pondered as he questioned himself, trying to understand how this was possible.
"What is so special about this simple Hogwarts student?"
"I heard that the Prince family is..." the man commented.
"Yes," Lord Voldemort replied to Lord Lestrange's comment.
"The two brothers contacted us, as long as we helped them get rid of Severus Snape. They are in despair. They believe that getting rid of the boy may change the kind of curse that fell upon the family," Voldemort said, and it was quite intriguing.
It was known that the Prince family could no longer produce heirs, as they were under a kind of curse that not even Voldemort fully understood.
They got to the point of believing that eliminating the boy, their sister's son, could change everything.
At the same time, the boy was not easy to eliminate. No one managed to kill him during the holidays, and it wasn't for lack of trying — while someone was killing dark wizards...
Now the boy was at Hogwarts. As long as they eliminated him, they would follow any order from Voldemort.
Voldemort hadn't denied that request in the end.
Even though he had heard from Lord Malfoy about the boy. But in the end... the Prince family was more important, or so he thought.
"Anyway, leave that aside. I was even going to summon the Prince family to act tonight... but I'd better deal with the Black family later. I want you all to be prepared. Do you understand?" Voldemort said, as Lord Lestrange nodded.
