Chapter 45: The Ghost in the Mines

Scooby: Previously on Mystery Incorporated.

"Incoming!!!" Fred shouted,Seeing the Missile Coming at Them.

Sheriff Stone,Mayor Nettles and All of Mystery Incorporated looked Behind Them,Where the Missile was Coming at Them,as Mayor Nettles,Then,Turned Back to the Front of the Helicopter,In an Attempt to save It.

The Missile,Not being able to Completely hit Them,Grazed the Helicopter's Tail Rotor,as the Rotor Sparked and Crackled,Which made the Whole Helicopter start to Spiral Out of Control,as the Missile went,Into the Ground,Near the Coast,Exploding,While,The Helicopter continued to spiral Out of Control.

The Gang,Mayor Nettles and Sheriff Stone Screamed Out,In Unison,as the Helicopter resumed Spiraling Out of Control,Towards the Ground.

"Louis,What are You-?" Velma tried to Ask,Still Holding the the Handles of Louis's Wheelchair,as She watched Louis start to leave his Wheelchair.

Louis,Suddenly,Then,Jumped Out of his Wheelchair,And,Out of the Helicopter,Towards Nova.

"Nova!!! NO!!!! Louis!!!!" Scooby cried Out,Calling Out to Nova,Again,Then,Seeing Louis jump Out,And,Start to fall towards Her,Attempting to reach Louis's Leg,Before,He could get Out of his Reach,But,It didn't Work,Scooby's Paw,Barely,Missing Louis's Leg.

"I heard Scooby wasn't with You Last Night,According to Shaggy and Scooby's Story,You weren't watching It with Them," Velma pointed Out.

"And,That's Bad?" Louis queried,Not really getting,What She was getting At.

"Yeah,Kind Of,We almost lost You,A Couple of Days Ago,And,It's like,He's Already forgotten All about It,As Usual," Velma explained,Angrily.

"Velm,He hasn't forgotten about That,As a Matter of Fact,He has refused to forget about That,He's felt really Bad about It,And,Wants to try Harder to protect Me," Louis stated.

"Assuming,He can still be Trusted to Protect You," Velma mumbled to Herself,In Distrust,as She continued to search through the Records.

Scooby,Seeing Louis,Searching through Records,Decided to Walk Over to Him,And,Help,It just being Another Reason for Him to be Next to Louis.

Scooby walked Over to his Side,And,Started to Search through Records,Alongside Him,as Louis turned,To see Scooby There helping Him,Smiling at Scooby,With Scooby smiling at Him,Right Back.

"Wow,Talk about Limited Fame," Scooby stated.

"Right?" Louis agreed.

Velma watched the Two of Them continue to bond,as She watched Them,And,Growled,Angrily.

"I can't say the Same for Me," Velma muttered to Herself,as She narrowed Her Eyes,At Scooby,While,She watched Them head Away from the Other's.

"Funny,That,He protects You,Yet,You couldn't protect Him,From Jumping Out of a Helicopter,And,Almost falling to his Death," Velma complained,From the Front,A Little Louder,Than She had been saying It.

"What?" Scooby asked,In Confusion,From the Back,Hearing Her Say Some of It,as He just asked Her,What She had Said.

"Uh,Nothing,Nothing,Don't Worry about It," Velma responded,Nervously,Not meaning for Him to hear It,as She just dropped It,For the Time Being.

Scooby looked at Her,Kind of,Suspiciously,Starting to Wonder,If She was having an Issue with Him,Now.

"Don't think,That,I didn't see,The Fact,That,You had left Louis to run with Shaggy,Leaving him with Fred of All People,Yet,Another Time,That,You have failed to protect my Boyfriend," Velma whispered,To Scooby,Not liking the Fact,That,He had ran with Shaggy,Instead of Louis.
