Hi again you've made it to chapter three, so this hasn't been a complete waste of time! Yay!
So this is what's gonna happen: I've written this chapter in Logan p.o.v. but in a third person omniscient narration and I plan to keep doing this. So I've decided to title the chapters in Mina's p.o.v with roman numerals and the ones in Logan's p.o.v. in regular numbers.
Hopefully this won't make it confusing and I wont have to write out who's p.o.v. it is.
Anyway hope you enjoy this one and if you do please vote or comment.
Logan walked up to the guy that had provided the drugs for Faith's drink and asked if he had some more. The guy only smiled when he recognized who he was.
"Sure man!" he said handing him a little plastic bag with a little white round pill.
"Thanks man." Logan said and walked away hoping that the guy wouldn't alert those around him of his presence. He really didn't feel like getting swarmed by people who only wanted to know him because he was famous. He wanted to get back to Mina, finally someone worth talking to, someone who wasn't interested on his name and his fame. Some one he found himself talking to like it was the most natural thing in the world. Talking to her was like breathing, effortless and necessary. He'd finally met someone who understood him and who was willing to listen. He wasn't going to let that go.
He took it with a margarita, hoping it would take effect soon, and walked around looking for Mina and Faith.
He found them in the living room Faith was the center of attention talking animatedly while Mina looked around uncomfortable. She spotted Logan and smiled. He smiled at the fact the she had smiled and motioned to her to come nearer. She did and said pulling her short brown hair behind her ear, "For a second I though you'd left."
"Oh no, I'm not leaving yet." he said smiling because she looked relieved to see him.
"Good, you're my only friend at this party. So I'm not letting you go" she said taking his arm and walking away. He smiled and followed getting pulled.
They didn't go any where in particular they just walked around the house looking around and talking. She pointed out random things and giggled to herself about some others. It was pretty obvious she was drugged by then. So watching her was very amusing, he wondered how different she would be if she had been in her natural state. He could feel himself be taken over by the effects too, but he was mostly all sane still.
Finally they peeked into an empty room on the second floor. It was the last room at the end of a well lit hallway.
The host had figured that the more light there was the less likely were people to wander there. He was right.
The small bedroom had been left untouched. It must have been a guest room of some sort, Logan figured, for it was void of all indications that someone lived there. It felt more like a hotel room than anything.
They walked in closing the door behind them. The noise level was notably lower.
"Finally some peace!" she exclaimed and threw herself face up on the bed her arms extended. Her summer dress got a bit lifted and revealed her full thighs. It was hard not to stare. Quickly she lifted up her head and said urgently "Quick lock the door before someone else comes in."
Obediently he locked the door and approached the bed. She stared up at the ceiling "This place is so white," she said. "So well lit. It's like-"
"A hotel room?" he interrupted.
"Yeah! Or like a laboratory!" she said exited not taking her eyes of the ceiling.
"Or an art studio." he said.
"The light I guess, but it's not chaotic enough." she said rolling over to face him. She smiled and patted the bed next to her, signaling him to lay there with her.
He laid down and said "You think art studios are chaotic?"
"Yeah they have to be, plus I've never seen an orderly one." she said smiling. Her large brown eyes sparkled as she looked into his.
"I want an art studio. I don't know what I would use it for I'm not an artist, but it would be cool!" she said.
"Haha yeah it would be. If you where an artist what would be your specialty?"
"Sculpture!" she exclaimed. "Like marble sculptures, like the Greek and Roman ones in museums."
"I want to do water colors."
"Wow! And you should put them on display. "
They stayed in silence for a moment listening to each other breathe until she broke the silence.
"There's something I've always wanted to do." she said thoughtfully holding her chin.
"What is it?" he asked curious.
She sat up and said seriously "I want to do an examination. Can I examine you?"
"What?" he exclaimed sitting up confused.
Hi! So I accidentally made the next chapter private and I can't change it to public, which is a shame because it's one of my favorite chapters so far. So pretty please follow me so you can finish reading this story.
Note edit: Okay so the next chapters are published as public now! Yay!
