There he was siting in front of me, so real and so tangible, but it felt like a dream.

Excitement level: +100

He was wearing a black button down shirt which emphasized his pale white skin and matched with his dark hair. In the night his kind blue eyes looked almost as dark as the color of his jeans and they were fixed on me. Eyes so blue I could swim in them.

It surprised me to see him at a party like this. It surprised me to see him at all!

Calm down! Damn it! Treat him like you would any another person.

"Sooo what do you hate about parties?" I asked shyly walking towards him.

Nervousness level: +50

"Er I don't know, um... too many people?" he said timidly.

"Haha yeah same here, it's like I never... know anyone."

"Yeah yeah, and when you do, it's like you have nothing to say." he agreed excitedly.

"Yes! And then you're just there hiding-"

"-Behind the food!" we said simultaneously. We laughed at the coincidence. I just couldn't stop smiling.

"Yeah" he smiled.

"And party music? Please say it's awful." I continued.

"Yeah I totally agree. I don't want to sound like a hipster but I don't really like what's mainstream right now."

"Ah! I'm so glad somebody understands." I said relieved my arms raised up thanking the heavens.

He laughed and awkwardly asked "So why are you here then?"

"Oh my friend really wanted to come but not by herself, so she basically forced me to come. What about you? Why are you here?"

"My friends dragged me here, they say I need to get out more." he said scratching the back of his head shyly. That twinge of shyness made him way more attractive.

Excitement level: +200

"They say the same thing to me too." I said giggling.

He began "I'd rather-"

"-Watch a good movie? Or-" I continued but was interrupted

"-write?"

"My god yes! That is exactly it!" I said impressed that he knew what I was going to say. I found another lawn chair that was near by and sat next to him.

"Wow! you're an old soul, just like me."

"So you're a writer too?" he asked.

"Eh, aspiring screenwriter yeah."

"If you want to do screenplays you've come to the right town." he said.

"Haha yes I have, it too bad it's only for a week." I said sadly.

Suddenly my phone rang. It was Faith. "Oh it's my friend, I should probably get that, be right back." I said getting up from my spot.

"Lil? Where are you? You didn't leave did you." said Faith giggling.

"No I didn't I'm outside." I responded annoyed.

"What are you doing there?"

"Just taking some air."

"Ha OK. You are not going to believe what I just heard, wait I'll tell you in person it's biiiig. Are you in front of the house or behind."

"Behind. Oh on your way here, can you get me something to drink? NON-alcoholic please."
