Logan undressed himself, as Mina had instructed, and laid on the bed only wearing his underwear. He was nervous and curious at the same time. She leaned over him very closely, her large brown eyes scanning his face. His heart began to beat faster as she squinted at him shaking her head in disapproval.

"It's not right. The light, is not right. It isn't the proper light for an examination." She said.

She looked up and turned her eyes on the light switch. She smiled when she saw that it had a dimmer. She got up from the bed and dimmed the lights just a bit. She looked back at him and smiled "Perfect!"

"What was that for?"

"Things change in a different light." she said as soon as she once again towered over him, her knees on both sides of his hips.

"Close your eyes, we're about to start." she whispered smiling.

Logan squinted at her suspicious but then her hand came towards his eyes and he shut them instinctively. Very softly Mina traced his eyelashes first on his left eye then on his right. He could feel her soft delicate fingers as they made their way to his eyebrows.

He opened his eyes then and saw her in full concentration tracing his face.

She made eye contact with him once then continued with her task, observing and touching like she had never done so before.

She moved on to his cheek bones and then the nose, then his jawline and his chin.

Then his lips, she traced his bottom lip with her thumb then she made eye contact with him again. Both their hearts beat faster. Mina's touch was as soft and warm as his skin.

She moved on from his face, moving down from his neck to the shoulders, with an emphasis on his sharp collar bones, to the chest and so forth. She traced every angle, every outline, every spot.

The thing about the examination is that it goes both ways.

Not only did Mina examine with care and detail every inch of Logan's body, but Logan at the same time could closely examine Mina as she worked her way down his body. He could see her slightly parted rosy lips showing her pearly white teeth and the way that she lightly breathed through them. Her chocolate brown almond-shaped eyes were opened wide and her long eyelashes very much resembled Spanish fans.

Not once during the time that she examined him did she utter a word, she was too much in awe and in focus to do so. Logan on the other hand was too busy watching her and feeling her hands on his skin to think of anything to say.

On her signal, he turned over so she could examine his back as well. It was hard not to move then for her featherweight touch tickled. When she was done with his back he returned to his original position.

Mina played a bit with his hands, since they where the last thing she examined. She smiled as she traced his knuckles and the veins that showed through his pale ivory skin. When she was done she placed them on his chest and once again made eye contact with him and smiled.

"Done." she said.

His lips curled and he said "Is it my turn now?"

She nodded and looked away slipping of her dress.

She laid herself on the bed like he had. Her eyes were closed and her breath was held. She looked like a freshly made corpse, unmoving and serene. He panicked at the thought of ever seeing a girl like her dead, no mater how peaceful her expression was. He touched her face to shake himself away from the image of death.

At his touch she opened her eyes and they gazed at each other for what like seemed forever. She was the one that finally broke the gaze when she looked down and closed her eyes bracing herself for the examination.

And so he began. What amazed him most about her was the softness of her skin. She might not have been the fittest or thinnest girl but she did have the softest skin he had ever touched.

She had curves, just the perfect amount: full thighs and proportionate breasts.

She was ticklish at the chest for she twitched and giggled when he brushed his hand against her ribcage.

While examining her collar bones he thought about something she had said and inquired about it.

"Before, you said-I- that I was an old soul." he asked continuing to examine her hands.

"Yeah. That's because you are." She said looking up at him.

"And-so what is that?"

"I guess some one who doesn't care much about the practices of the now and likes things that people did in the past."

He coaxed his head to the side still a bit confused. She chuckled and continued explaining.

"It's like you're and old guy trapped in a young guy's body."

"I'm an old guy? I could just be socially awkward." He said going back to examine her face again, starting with the eyebrows.

"Sometimes in a room full of your peers, don't you feel like you don't belong. Like they're going on and on about things that don't matter and they overlook the problems and you just wish they would see the world like you do?" she asked looking down.

He thought about what she'd said for a while. She looked up him awaiting an answer.

"Yeah I do sometimes." he said.

"Don't you just like sitting down with an either really hot or really cold drink and just watch what's around you and just think?" she looked down again.

"Yeah I do."

"It's not because you're socially awkward, it's because you're an old soul. You belong in a different time. You're wise beyond your years."

"How do you know these things?" he asked tilting up her chin so that their eyes would meet.

"I don't know." she shrugged smiling shyly her eyes fixed on his.

She'd only known him for two hours at most and but it seemed to him like she'd know him forever. She was like no one he'd ever met before and she was able to read him like a billboard sign on the freeway.

"Your eyes are so blue." she whispered her heart beating faster than ever. "I can't look away."

"I don't want you to." he said edging closer.

"Then I won't."

Slowly their lips met for a long single kiss.
