A Love Like That

VII. Beginning

I looked down not wanting to see his reaction. But since he said nothing I looked up. He was frozen in astonishment. His beautiful blue eyes wide with shock. His lips agape.

What is he thinking?

"Say something please." I said looking away as to not show the tears in my eyes.

"I don't know what to say." He said bringing his hands to his head.

"Anything! What are you thinking?" I pleaded.

"It's a surprise. A great surprise. I still can't take it all in. It's just- I can't- Ah- wow." He said pacing around nervously. "What are you going to do?" He asked finally stopping I front of me tilting his head.

"What are WE going to do?" I asked back.

"Right that's why you're here. That's why you're here!" He said nervously.

"Yeah."

"Okay. You haven't gone to the press about this?"

"No, of course not!" I said slightly offended.

'Who-who else knows about this?"

"Just you and Faith. So what are we going to do about it?" I repeated afraid of his answer.

"You wouldn't by chance be asking for an a-"

"-We are keeping this baby." I said firmly interrupting his foul question. I looked away in the direction we were going before I dropped the bomb.

"Good okay." He said stepping forward in that same direction. Soon we were walking again in silence.

"Where are you staying?" He asked as we walked side by side.

"At Faith's probably. Coming here was spur of the moment so I didn't have time to check for a place to stay." I said.

"Do you want to stay at my place?" He asked.

"Uum I'm not sure that's a good idea." I said.

"Please, maybe we can settle a thing or two while you're there." He said thoughtfully.

"I'm going to loose this aren't I?" I said chuckling and shaking my head. "Alright then but just tonight."

We kept walking down the path passing by various studios and sets. I must say it was quite magical. Jus the thought that wonderful movies were filmed there made me want to cry of joy.

"I fucking love movies." I said thinking out loud still amazed.

"What you've never been on set before?"

"No I have, but there nothing quite like studio sets and films." I said as a matter of fact.

"Yeah that's very true." He chuckled.

"Movies are life Logan. Movies are life." I said.

"I could not have said it better."

We entered the set he was working on. I was to much in awe to ask which movie it was. I just looked around amazed. This was a professional set, not the undergraduate rookie sets I'd been on before. This was the real deal.

I hadn't even noticed that Logan had disappeared until he creeped up behind me and said "This is what you want to do right?"

I turned back frightened and nodded.

"Yeah it's quite a job." He continued "Well I'm actually done for today, since we're not going to do the rest of my scenes that where scheduled for today for reasons, but we can stay if you want to watch."
