Laura's POV
Last class before lunch: OVER
"Race you to the cafeteria!" I yelled to Aria and Autumn before taking off.
"HEY!! NO FAIR, YOU CHEATER!!" they yelled, running after me.
Call me crazy or whatsoever. I know I'm a nerdy girl but sometimes you gotta have some fun. YOLO right?
I'm usually the first person who reaches the cafeteria first, but this time someone else was faster than me. Guess who? Oh who am I kidding? Of course you know!
Yep, the one and only Ross Shor Lynch.
I stood behind him in the line, Aria and Autumn behind me, panting, hands on their knees.
The other girls arrived later. As they passed by Ross, they sent him flirty winks, which Ross ignored.
After the four of us got our food, we walked to our usual table. But today with Ross by our side, things got a little different.
"Ross, sit with us!"
"Ross, Laura, Aria and Autumn can I sit with you guys?"
"Ross, table 1 if you wanna sit with us, the cheerleaders!"
"No! Ross is sitting with me!"
"Ha! Why would he want to sit with you losers? We're the hot cheerleaders! Ross obviously wants to sit with us!"
"Oh please, being a cheerleader doesn't mean Ross will want to sit with you."
And the arguments continued until...
"ENOUGH!" Ross roared out of the blue.
"Ahhhhhhh!!" I exclaimed in fright, dropping my food on the floor.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Laura. I didn't mean to scare you! I just wanted to get their attention. I'm so so so so-"
I giggled and cut him off.
"Okay okay, I get it. You're sorry," I giggled.
Ross smiled. "About the food..."
"It's alright, I'll just eat yours." I smiled innocently.
Ross rolled his eyes playfully before turning back to face the fangirls.
"Look, I'm not going to sit with any of you because I'm sitting with my REAL friends," Ross said, gesturing towards us.
Aria, Autumn and I exchanged uneasy glances.
"Ross, stop..." I whispered.
"No, Laura. I won't. I have to make it clear. I came here to learn, not to be flirted by girls. So please, stop," he stated, leaving me speechless.
A celebrity who doesn't like to be flirted with? I guess Ross isn't what I thought he is.
"Come on, girls," Ross said, pulling me, Aria and Autumn out to the garden. We sat down on a bench.
Silence filled the air. I don't like this...
Finally, Autumn decided to break silence. Thank God.
"Ross, what you said in the cafeteria...was it all true?" she asked.
He sighed.
"Yea, it's true. You know, I begged my mum not to have me homeschooled like my other siblings because to be honest, being popular sucks. I want to lead a normal life too."
"Ross," I put my hand on his back unconsciously. "My sister is a celebrity too, so I know how hard it is with all the paparazzi following you around and people flirting nonstop. But I know you can do it."
