Felina cradled her kitten., staring into her daughter's curious emerald eyes, her lashes batted curiously as if she wanted to see the dreary, bleak yet dirty and savage ally where Felina's gang and her sisters in crime retreated to plan a robbery or even the big job.
"You're so innocent, I'm so... So bad. I've gone too far to stop now."
Her baby mewed
"I'm sorry - I just can't be a mom..."
Catrinka (her German colleague) called out "Felina? Who are you talking to?"
"Uh, um..."is what a bad liar or a good were cat would have said.
But Felina was a criminal. Lies rolled off her tongue and past her razor tiger jaws. "A hallucination of Al Dame - that's all!" She fibbed about her gang's enemy.

"Rule one: keep your enemies close but your career closer!" Felina whispered to her child. She quickly ran out to a pharmacy in a creepy doll mask .She sighed, daylight robbery was way boring.
The cashier fainted before Felina could steal the bag that you can put your kids in and strap them like a backpack.

She leaped from building to building. Her daughter howled at the adrenaline and the drops that made the young child's guts splurge to the bottom of her wee bitty stomach.
The baby threw up before her long lashes blinked.
"Ugh no more crying..." Felina sighed exasperatedly. But she looked at her daughter, when she saw that the child's eyes were shut and not open, tears pricked and fell like a waterfall.
She heard her daughter's gurgle and gave a sigh of relief.

"Don't scare me like that, Toralei." She whispered to her baby.

Her lashes fluttered before revealing evergreen orbs.

Felina had been leaping many buildings but she skimmed down a drain pipe (slow enough to calm the baby)
She wore a black, formfitting black spy suite, allowing her to blend in the shadows. She saw a box and many young kittens were in there. She gave Toralei a kiss and left her. She hooked a golden necklace that adroitly spelt:
Toralei Stripe
Growing up on the streets, Toralei lived on her wits and courage, she was a child prodigy. She sold milk bottles in the Black Market and she was rewarded in skulls which she paid Diggy to teach her, Diggy was a werewolf that didn't care about cats & dogs. Toralei was being raised by the kind Diggy in a abandoned warehouse with other criminals. Diggy was not only a teacher, but a singer in a jazz club down the street, he would always sing Toralei a lullaby.
But as soon as Toralei came to Diggy at age six with money and hopes for an education, Diggy refused the money. She loved him like her own father.
But one misty night when she was thirteen - Toralei was caught and thrown into juvy.
She met her new best friends (Meowlody and Purrsephone) and the three were visited by a headmistress who had them accepted into Monster High.
They vowed to take down who ran things A.K.A Cleo De Nile. Just like what they did in juvy. Toralei was a mean ghoul but behind her words ran a sadness that was caused from being away from Diggy.
When Toralei decided to visit the slums she grew in, she found the abandoned warehouse. She reunited with many friends but she found Diggy.
Diggy had grown old and Toralei saw the happiness in his eyes when she told him about her new school, her grades, college.
"I'm happy you made something of yourself. I want you to never let anybody crush your dreams because you are amazing! I love you like my own child. And never forget that"
"I love you daddy, I would never be here if you hadn't raised me."
They hugged happily and waved goodbye. Suddenly a few cracks of dust fell onto Diggy's forehead.
"Daddy..."
"Bah forget that. It happens all the time."
But the board on the ceiling slowly creaked - leaving a large crevice.
"Daddy. Move." Toralei's fear struck in so deep that she couldn't yell.
The world seemed to move in slow motion.
Toralei screamed. Diggy gasped. The children cried.
The board smashed onto Diggy.
Toralei felt tears dwell. She pushed the board off and cried at Diggy.
"Remember your-your lullaby Toralei?" Diggy was bleeding out his last words.
"Yeah Daddy."
"Let's sing it. Make my final breaths count..."
"When the word is dark.
Remember you have friends.
When you've got a tickle in your throat that makes you wanna bark
Remember you have friends.
Darling always bear in mind
I'll never be far behind
I'll be in your heart forever..." They sang between tears.
"When you'll need me from above I'll send down a dove. You know that you need to remember: you have friends." Diggy's beautiful, jazz, bluesy voice sang before his blue eyes went glassy. That was the biggest tragedy of Toralei Stripe's life.
Toralei cried at his lifeless body and bawled for what seemed like forever.
Only the woman that granted Toralei's freedom out of the slums she grew up in (Bloodgood) and her two best friends knew about her depression. She was permitted a month off school, where she bundled up in Diggy's old jacket, it was his favourite and the one he wore to the jazz clubs he performed at.

But over time, Toralei expressed her anger & sorrow through sports. She healed from Diggy but a huge piece of her mourned.
Diggy's death was a huge blow to her and she knew Diggy wanted her to be good.
