Sweet Nightmares (*Monster High fanfic*)

This is my first merge chapter. This will have Lagoona, Lorna and Gill's POV! Prepare for the ultimate water monster love showdown! 

Lagoona's POV 

I put my hand on the glass window of the Coffin Bean, salt water tears dripping down my blushed cheeks. 

There he was, gazing into Lorna's eyes, lovestruck. I bet his heart was leaping. 

Lorna leaned into Gill, her lips puckered until I stormed in. 

"On our three year anniversary Gill?!" 

"Lagoona!" They exclaimed. 

"It's over, you horrible monster. Never speak to me again!" 

Lorna strutted up to me, her hand raised. 

Her hand slapped across my cheek, rubbing it raw. Spectra had somehow appeared and was lifting her iCoffin, filming. 

"Why don't you just shut up and grow up, Lagoona. Gill has been having an affair for the past three months with me - we belong together!" Lorna picked up her coffee and dunked it all over my hair that I spent twenty-five minutes spraying with the honeyed oil!

More tears stung my eyes. I ran out of the Coffin Bean and didn't bother to run home. I felt some sort of sense direct me towards the ocean. 

Luckily, I didn't get wet from being in the water. The ocean is like my best friend. Monsters don't think that the ocean is inanimate. 

It isn't. 

The sea has a heart, she can talk back. Not from a mouth but through the waves. 

As soon as my head slipped below the surface I felt like the coffee wash away from my locks.  

What is the matter child? 

The honey sweet, mellowed voice of the waters whispered. 

I wouldn't speak from my mouth but from my head. 

It's like I was being oblivious  to him. Is it that I'm not pretty enough? Am I not cool enough? Is it because I'm from salt water origins? 

I felt a huge wave push me. Even though I was floating underwater, the ocean turned me upside down.

HOW DARE HE EVEN THINK ABOUT JUDGING A MONSTER BY HER BREED?

 The sweet voice turned harsh roughly. 

You must call up something buried, child...

The voice turned sweet again but she disappeared. 

What? 

I got out of the water and decided to head back to school, something changed in me - I didn't feel compelled to Gill any more. I don't care if I upset my 'boyfriend'. I'll do what I think is best. 

Lorna's POV 

I shook my head furiously, my unruly orange curls shaking 

"What came over me, Gill? That was horrible of me - Gill, are you even listening?" 

I turned to see him vomiting into a trash can. 

"Ew, that's disgusting." 

"Y-you can't blame me - no offence but kissing you makes me hurl."  

I felt a tiny pang of pain in my gut. Whatever it has to be a schoolgirl crush, I'll be over it soon. 

I think. 

Gill started to vomit - again.

"I bet Lagoona is so upset - I felt like someone was puppeting me, like I was being pulled by invisible strings!" 

"Me *vomit, vomit, vomit* too *vomit, vomit and more vomit*." Gill spluttered. 

"We need a way to get her forgiveness. Wait a sec, my iCoffin's going off." I pulled out my phone and felt tears drip down my cheeks. 

Somebody had tweeted something on my Howler page. 

Geez Lorna, get your own boyfriend. I can't imagine Lagoona being okay with how many 'friend' pics you're taking with her boyfriend. Notice air quotations around 'friend'  

"Did Lagoona send this?" Gill questioned "Nah, she's too sweet to do that!" Gill shrugged "Back to operation get Lagoona back!" 

I felt a white hot rage wash over me "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GILL! YOU DON'T SEE SOMETHING GOOD IF IT SMACKED YOU ON THE FACE - I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU SINCE I MET YOU BUT ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS THAT UGLY, SEA MONSTER - IT'S NOT A SCHOOLGIRL CRUSH ANYMORE!" I screamed furiously. 

Gill stood there, dumbfounded, and he hurled. 

Gill's POV 

I.

Can't. 

Do. 

This. 

I can't believe Lorna likes me, I love Lagoona! I stood there before turning and jogging very quickly away. 

Why would she even call Lagoona that - it really steamed me. 

What am I gonna do?
