Chapter 3: The Avatar

It had been a few weeks that I had been on Zuko's ship. I got along well with Iroh but every time I ended up talking to Zuko he got personal or we got in a fight.

I had discovered I was a water bender and Zuko didn't trust me at all but I learned how to bend by myself and I had froze the ship a couple of times.

It was early in the morning and the sun was about to come out. I had my skinny jeans, shirt and vans on. I walked out of Zuko's room and went to the deck. No one was up yet not even Zuko he was asleep in the same room I was in only on the floor since he didn't trust me he wanted me in his room.

"You're up early" Iroh said and I turned around.

"Yea I just need fresh air" I said breathing in the air and playing with the water.

"Would you like some jasmin tea? it is very calming" Iroh asked.

"I'd prefer a shoot of tequila but tea's fine" I said sitting down infront of a table.

"Don't you think it's a bit early to be drinking? And you are very young" Iroh asked.

"Well in my family I've been drinking since I was about five and for me it's never to early for a drink" I said and sipped a bit of tea that Iroh had poured for me.

"I see there is something on you're mind even though you hide it well" Iroh said.

"Yea I've had a life time to practice of hideing my feelings in order to make others happy" I said.

"So what's on you're mind?" Iroh asked again.

"It's Zuko" I sighed.

"You know it's strange how we talk as if we know each other for years when I don't even know you're name, age or family" Iroh said.

"Well it's best you don't know I have my reasons for what I do I just hope you understand better than Zuko" I said.

Iroh chuckled a bit. "Yes I am more understandable than my stuborn newphew" Iroh said.

"You are a very wise man and pateint I see you treat Zuko as if he were you're own son" I said.

"Well yes so what is it about Zuko you were going to say?" Iroh asked changing the subject.

"Well I can't explain it but I see his face whenever I dream it's like he's trying to tell me something I can't explain it since I wake up screaming every time I see his face and it's all I see when I sleep ever since I arrived here" I explained and I took another sip from my cup.

"Well I am not sure what it means but destiny has made you're lives intertwine with each others" Iroh said.

"I don't want to be rude but I don't belive in spirits, ghost, destiny, magic or any of that stuff it's against my religon to mess with that everything that happens has a scientific reason and the things we can't explain are to advanced" I explained.

"Well here destiny is a big role in everyone's life" Iroh said.

"At least it's safer I don't have to worry every single second that someone will try to kill me and my family I haven't been able to relax this way since I was about seven the day I turned seven everything chamged my life wasn't as happy as I thought and every day became a struggle of life and death thats why I can be so voilent sometimes" I said.

"Well maybe you should work on that" I heard Zuko say.

"How long were you standing there? And you shouldn't be eavsdroping on people I swear..." I said angry.
