Chapter 9: Jet

I woke up to the burning sizziling sound of the sun burning my skin and the rest of the group walking.

"Ohh good you're up have you seen Momo?" Katara asked.

"No I've been trying to get some sleep since I kept screaming and wakeing up at night" I said tierd and mad.

"You woke me up too!" Sokka said.

I sighed and got up. "Come on lets go look for Momo I bet he's in the woods" I said walking in to the forest.

I heard something in the woods crying.

"Over here I think I hear Momo" I said running towards the noise.

When I heard it loud and clear I saw nothing. I looked around hearing the animals but I didn't see them.

"Up there" Sokka said poiting at some spheres in the air containing Momo and two other animals in the trees.

"Hang on Momo" Aang said as he used air to push him up in to the air and on to a tree.

We all watched as Aang carefully put Momo on the ground then me and Katara opened the metalic sphere cage letting Momo out.

Momo jumped out and kept eating some type of red berrys.while Sokka sighed angry and hit his forehead.

Then we heard the other two monkey animals crying and pleading to be let out while Aang came down.

"Alright you too" Aang said going back up the tree.

"This is gunna take all day" Sokka said.

"You're right" I said agreeing with him and started to bend the metal. I pushed the metal traps down to the ground the opened them releasing the animals.

"These are fire nation I can tell by the metal work, we should go back to camp and leave" Sokka said as he stoped exsaming the trap.

We got back to camp and I went to the woods changing in to my fire nation clothing. I hid my gun in one boot. I only had about twenty bullets left and I didn't have time to make more.

I had my pocket knife in my bra and I my bow and arrows in my bag that I had put on my back. The dagger Zuko had given me I had placed in my bag. It was carefully inside it's cloth and put in my bag as if it was a old vase.

"Is everyone ready?" Sokka asked us.

"Yea lets start putting our stuff on Appa" I said ready to put my bag on Appa.

"No this time were walking" Sokka said.

"What are you insane? We are not walking" I said.

"Look I have to trust my instincts as the leader and they say we should walk I mean how do you think the fire nation finds us, Appa's just to noticible he's a gaingantic flying bison it's kinda hard to miss him" Sokka said pointing at Appa.

Appa growled as if understanding what he said. "Sokka's just jelouse he dosen't have an arrow" Aang said.

"Okay that may be true but why do we have to follow you're orders?" I asked him.

"Because im the oldest and the leader!" Sokka said as I heard his voice crack a bit.

"You're voice still cracks! Why do guys always have to think someone's in charge?" Katara asked.

"It's the human nature of men they can't help it, in there minds they have to be the ones takeing care of others but scince has shown that women are stronger then men" I said.

"You know I bet if you kissed a girl you wouldn't be like this" Katara said.

"I've kissed a girl you just haven't meet her!" Sokka said.
