not too weak

Chapter 1: The First Day

             "Amaya! You're going to be late for your first day at the academy!" Kakashi shouts after knocking on her bedroom door.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Amaya shouts as she comes running out of her bedroom.

Kakashi looks at her and laughs to himself and says "Breakfast is on the table." then continues reading his book.

"Thanks dad!" Amaya says. She grabs a piece of toast as Kakashi sits down at the table.

As she gives him a kiss on the cheek she quickly grabs a kunai from his pouch without him noticing. "Bye dad!" She runs out the door and heads to the academy.

Right after she leaves Kakashi pulls out his pouch to make sure he has everything and he's not forgetting anything before he leaves. He digs around in his pouch for a minute and then says " That's funny, I could have sworn I had another kunai in here. Oh well I'll just have to get some more later."

Amaya gets to the academy and finds her classroom. She opens the door, walks in, and makes her way to the only open seat. She sits down next to a boy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing orange and blue clothes. After she sits down the teacher walks in and introduces himself.

"Hi my name is Iruka Sensei and I will be your teacher until you graduate from this academy." Iruka sensei starts going down the rows asking each kid their name and a goal that they plan to reach.

After many other kids he gets to the back row. The boy sitting next to Amaya stands up . "My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm going to be hokage!" Everyone laughs except Amaya. "Believe it!" Naruto shouts at the class.

"That's enough class!" Iruka sensei breaks in. "Moving on please." Iruka sensei says as he motions towards Amaya.She stands up.

"My name is Amaya Hatake." The whole class stops and looks at her.

"You're Kakashi's daughter right?" Iruka sensei asks.

"That's right." she replies. "And one day I am going to surpass him!" The whole class laughs except Naruto who is looking at her as if to say 'I know how you feel and I believe in you.'

A kid sitting exactly 3 rows in front of her with a dog on his head laughs and says "I can't believe a shrimp like you could be Kakashi's daughter! How can you even hope to surpass someone like Kakashi?" He continues to laugh with the class.

Amaya, red with anger, quickly reaches back and pulls the kunai out of her bag and whips it past the head of the boy who was making fun of her. The kunai hits the board at the front of the room and everybody stops laughing and turns around to look at her.

Amaya looks at the boy and shouts "Say it again I dare you! I promise the next kunai won't be hitting the board!"

Iruka sensei looks at her surprised and shouts "Amaya! Kiba! That's enough you two!" Amaya and Kiba both stop and look at Iruka sensei. After a couple seconds Iruka sensei breaks the silence. "Amaya, can I ask you to step into the hallway with me please?"

Amaya looks at the ground and follows Iruka sensei into the hallway. Iruka sensei starts off by saying "Amaya what was that all about?"

Amaya looks up at him and says "I'm tired of people saying that I can't do things because I'm too small or because I'm too weak!"

Iruka sensei looks down at her as she starts to turn red with anger. " And where did you get a kunai?" He asks.

"I borrowed it from my dad." she replies.

"He gave you a kunai?!" he asks shocked.

"Well, he doesn't exactly know that I borrowed it." she says as she tries to avoid eye contact.
