Y/n: You can't be serious, Dad.

Y/n's father is pacing in the room. He looks at her by her voice.

Mr.Park: I have no other choice. If they know Lia runs away from the wedding and has no bride, they will kill us.

Y/n stares at her father. Her sister, Lia, is supposed to get married today. It was a business marriage arranged by the Park and Kim family. And her sister's disappearance makes her father anxious. Kim Taehyung Isn't a man to take lightly. He is a feared personality in the underworld. And now that Lia runs away, it's going to be the end of Parks.

Mr.Park: Y/n, Marry him. By these, we all can leave. Kim won't take the humiliation lightly. If anyone knows the bride is running away, it will cause a distraction. Kims will be a laughing stock, and they will take revenge on us. Trust marrying him at least let us to leave. I am begging you. You won't go out alive anyway, sweetheart. This is the only way we all can live.

Y/n sighs. She knows her father is right. Either she has to die or marry him. She closed her eyes. Taehyung is a devil, but she can handle him.

Y/n: I.... I have married him dead. We don't have any other option. Lia agreed to this marriage and ran away, leaving us in this position. But I have to bring us all out alive.

After a while

Y/n is standing in front of Kim Taehyung. The guy has a cold, dangerous look. It makes her shiver in fear. Taehyung put the ring on her finger. He looks at her with fire eyes.

Tae: You are Just a substitute bride. Forget about any fancy illusion of husband and wife. You are sent as payback. You are my hostage. And you all act as I want.

Y/n's stomach flips. He is angry. And he will make her suffer for what her sister did.

One year later

In one year, Taehyung and Y/n didn't develop any kind of relationship. They live like strangers. Y/n carries on with her life, and Taehyung never once interfered. The initial tensions fade away. Y/n is okay with it. She thinks It's way better than the life she assumed. Torturing her for her sister's betrayal is her first thought. But his ignorance feels better than anything. She is a free bird. Enjoying her life. Pursue her career, spend time with her friends and, stay within her limit, and avoid anything that might anger Taehyung. And the result is good. As long as she Doesn't piss Taehyung, he never tries to care about her business. Her life is quite peaceful until an old picture takes away her peace of mind.

Taehyung is in his office, working the whole day, and he feels extremely frustrated and tired. He takes his phone to check on his wife. Somehow, his wife always calms him down, even though he never shows. He is going through her picture on her social media, and one particular picture makes him pissed.

Y/n is on a beach wearing a very short skirt. What pissed him most is the people in the background. Some guys are checking out her bare thighs. And in the comment section, many people point it out. His mind is going wild. He throws everything in front of him. How dare they look at her with those eyes. He storms out of his office. His assistant and staff are shocked to see him in that state. He goes straight to his house and walks into her room for the first time after their marriage.

Y/n is wearing a skirt, which puts more oil on the fire.

He lifts her and puts her on the dressing table, pushing all the commodities on the dressing table. His hands slide under her skirt.

Tae: Take off this fucking skirt before I rip it off.

Taehyung says with anger. Y/n looks at him with wide eyes.

Y/n: What the fuck is wrong with you.

Tae: Wrong with me? I come home to find my wife parading around half-naked on social media, flirting with god knows who, and you ask what's wrong with me? I have given you everything a luxurious home, expensive clothes, jewellery. And this is how you repay me? By throwing yourself at other men? You are mine, Y/n. Only mine. And I won't tolerate any disobedience.
