Elia's POV:
I hear a heavy knock on my front door and look around at my empty house before answering it. "I'm leaving if anyones home, or if anyone cares." I yell knowing that nothings changed since moving here and this house will be barely occupied by my parents. I open the door and see Harry waiting on the other end, his curls a little damp from what I guessed was a shower. He smirks at me and holds one of his hands out "You ready?" He asks. I nod and take his hand. "Where are we going?" I ask as we climb into his car. "It's a surprise." "Oh come on, really? You're not going to tell me?" I ask. He shook his head and squeezed my thigh slightly "Don't worry, you'll enjoy your time with me."
We drive for almost and hour and I start to get concerned. "Ok you need to give me some kind of hint. We've been driving for awhile now." He smiles but keeps quiet. "Harry I'm serious this isn't funny." no response from him again as he keeps driving. "Harry!" I whack his arm slightly. "Welcome to London Elia." He says finally responding to me. I look out my window and take in the beautiful city. "You took me to London?" I ask in somewhat disbelief. He nodded and smile "Like I said you''ll enjoy your time with me." Harry finds a place to park and comes over to my door to open it but I beat him to it. "Sorry." I say apologizing for not letting him be gentleman like, though that stuff didn't really matter to me. He shook it off giving me a smile. "There's this really great fish and chips shop that I want to take you too, it's the best in the city." "Ok, I'm excited." I give him a warming smile as he slips his hand into mind and leads me around the city. As we walked my mind drifted back to what Charlotte and Jayden had said to me about Harry and seeing how wrong they truly are about him. He glanced down at me and for a second are eyes locked , his green orbs observing my blue ones. The locked stare we shared sent an intense feeling of emotion through me that I haven't felt in a long time.
We got to the fish and chips shop and Harry had me wait off to the side as he went to go get us food. He came back with a little basket of food in each hand. He handed me mine and I thank him. We found a place to sit outside and I took my first bit. My eyes lit up with delight as I tasted the food. "Oh my god," I say excitedly with food still in my mouth "Wow. Yeah this is, oh my god, this is delicious." Harry laughs at my reaction "Best in the city babe." "Thank you for taking me here." "Thank you for coming out with me." "You're not as bad as everyone says." my smile filled with warmth. "You wouldn't say that if you knew the truth." He says quietly. "What do you mean?" "Not everything that is said about me is a lie. There is some truth to it." "I don't believe that." "I'm serious. I should tell you the truth about me. If you want to leave after everything is said I understand." He says giving me a serious look. "When I was around 10 my dad ended up losing his job. My family wasn't well off to begin with so we needed money fast. My mom started to work, but she would work late nights and come back at around 5 am with thousands of pounds every night. I never questioned it since I was just a kid. It wasn't until a couple of weeks later my dad started getting suspicious of her. He drilled her with questions but she just kept telling him that it was from her tips from bartending. My dad didn't believe her so he followed her one night and found out she had been prostituting. He confronted her when she got home, she immediately broke down in tears and said this was the only thing she could do to support her family. My dad filled for divorce the next day. Once the divorce was finalized he started drinking heavily and ended up becoming an alcoholic. My mom didn't change, she still worked on the streets and ended up getting into drugs. I hated my life and wanted to take it into my own hands so when I was 15 I got emancipated and rented a cheap flat. I started working but it was only enough to pay rent and eat. It wasn't the best but it sure as hell beat the life I had been living with my parents. I thought everything was going fine until one night my moms pimps showed up at my flat looking for money. I told them I didnt know what they were talking about, seeing as I hadn't seen my mom for a little over a year. They didn't believe me and my mom had sent them here because she told them that I had her money and could pay them. The had asked me for 1000 pounds in cash right there. When I told them they it was a mistake and I couldnt pay them, they got angry. One pulled out a gun and he threaten to shoot if I didnt give him the money. I kept telling them I had no money but at that point they were too filled with anger to care. The guy with the gun pinned me against the wall and stuck it in my face, I pushed him off and tried to grab my phone but the other started choking me from behind. I elbowed him in his side causing him to fall back and hit his head on my coffee table. The one with the gun then threw me to the ground and kicked me hard enough that he had broken two of my ribs. I struggled to get up but when I did I punched him in the temple without meaning to which caused enough pressure to make him die. The one who hit his head on the table ended bleeding out and died as well. I didnt know I was going to kill them. The cops showed up and I was taken to the hospital. I wasnt charged with anything since it was self defense, but that doesn't take away the fact that I killed two people that night." The look he gave me showed how disgusted he was with himself. I tried to say something but he stopped me before I could. "Theres more. People at school found out, but it was twisted into a completely different version of it making me seem like this merciless killer and everyone was frightened of me. I began to have this feeling of anger bursting inside of me. Anger towards the world. I was angry at my mom for everything she had done, I was angry at my dad for becoming a drunk and giving up on his family, angry at how no-one at school actually tried to hear it from my side, and angry at myself that I didn't find a different way to stop those guys. My anger ended up taken over me and I ended up getting into street fights. My boss found out about it and fired me saying that I was making a bad reputation for his work. A friend I made from the streets got me into dealing, which made me a lot of money because drugs are not cheap. The cops ended up showing up and raiding my flat. I was sentenced to six months because I was still a minor. I got early role for good behavior but I got into a couple of fights and ended up having to serve another two months. I told myself that I would be done fighting once I got out but I couldn't resist. I ended up enjoy the fights and I'm good at." He looked into my eyes trying to find some fear from me but there was none. "Im fucked up, so if you want to go you can." He added. I shook my head no "I've seen worse." I rest my hand on his face "You had a real shitty childhood, and made some bad decisions but that doesn't make you fucked up or a monster." Our eyes lingered on each other for what felt like forever until our lips met in some type of passion with hint of belonging in the kiss. We broke the kiss and came back into reality. "Why did you ask me out?" he laughed "Well I told you, you've been the only person to treat me normally." "Besides that. I mean we had barely spoke until you took me home yet you always seem to have your eye on me before that. I guess I just what made you think I would be different? What made you think I wouldn't treat you like everyone else did?" "The first time I saw you in class I knew. I saw the way you looked at everything and hated it as much as I did." I laughed and rolled my eyes "I don't hate it!" "Well you don't like here." He said with a small chuckle. "It's not the worst it's just..." I begin to trail off when Harry finished my sentence for me "Too close-minded?" I nod. "Not everyone is like that, but the way most people act, they just pretend like they are entitled which is completely morally wrong to me." "You're friend Charlotte is one of them." "No. She's not that bad. There are others who are a lot worse." "Like Jayden?" he asks and I laugh "Yeah like Jayden. He was bad. I'm glad I left his party, it was a waist of my time anyways." "And that's why I knew I needed to ask you out. You understand, others don't. There's one more place I want to take you tonight." "Ok, yeah lets go"
We walked for a bit before he lead me to what looked like an abandoned building. "Here we are." I turn and look at him in confusion "Harry this is an emptying building." I say looking around. "Ah, that's what they want you to think." "Ok, then what it is?" "Its a club." "A club?" "Yeah its night club. The name of the club is Passion." "Where are all the people? There's not even any bouncers." I state examining the empty lot. "Its a blinded club, you have to know certain people to even hear of it." "How do you get in?" "I'll show you." he walks around to the side of the building and I follow. He does a weird knock on the door and the man smiles when he sees Harry. "Harry!" He says excitedly and rustles his hair. "Come on in mate! Im sure the others will be glad to see you." The others? I thought to myself. I have absolutely no idea what is going on. "Harry I'm so confused." I say as we walk through the dark building towards another door. "Who those other people that dude was talking about?" "They're my coworkers in way. You'll see." He opens the unlocked door in-front of us which brought us to downward leading stairs and a faint sound of music. He grabbed my hand before we walked down the stairs. The music got louder and I started to see multicolored flashing lights until we were greeted with a mass of people in what to my disbelief was an actual club. "Welcome to club passion." Harry says "Wow. I wasn't expecting it to be an actual club." I say with a chuckle. "Don't ever doubt me babe." He says and kisses my head. "I'll go get us some drinks." I nod and watch him walk towards the bar. I make my way through the crowd and get a couple of flirtatious smiles from some of the guys I pass but ignore them. Harry comes towards me back with four shots, he hands me two of them and we cheers taking our first shot back. I shake my head in disgust from the strong booze and take the second one in unison with Harry. "Wanna dance?" he asks and I nod. We place the glasses down on the nearest table and head onto the dance floor. The music took over as we began to dance and I could feel Harry place small kisses on my neck. I reached my hands up behind me and wrapped them around Harrys neck. We got more drinks and went back to the dance floor resuming our position. The longer we danced the more Harry got into it and I eventually felt him leaving me hickies splattered across my neck. I didn't mind though, it felt nice and we were both caught up with the atmosphere.
We finally made are way out of the club around one in the morning. Harry had sobered up enough to drive and I was ready for bed. "Did you have fun tonight?" He asked as we approached his car. "Of course! Harry this was an amazing time." I say smiling. "Would you want to go out with me again?" "Obviously." "Can I see you tomorrow then?" he asks starting his car. "Yeah, id like that." "Cool, does noon work?" "That works for me." he leans over to give me a quick kiss before starting the long drive back home.
