She's worth it, she's worth it, she's worth it. Those 3 words sung through his mind as he approached her. Everything but his mind went for it, he was breaking a promise. He really hoped she was indeed worth it. He stopped in his tracks turning around, he needed a way to approach her smoothly. After a while of thinking he gave up. Just go! his mind finally yelled, She was worth it. A sigh left his mouth as he went for it, her lips connected to a straw as she awkwardly scanned around the room in search for somebody. Fuck, what if she's looking for her boyfriend?

"Damn, my dude. Can you go talk to shorty already?" It was Trey, Chris didn't even have to look back, he already knew. Butterflies filled his stomach, it annoyed him. Chris didn't feel this way around girls, he could get any girl he wanted. So why was he tripping?

"Aye, you were at the Art Program this Wednesday, weren't you"

Naima looked up to see a tall figure in front of her. He stood tall, around the size of 6'1, black curls, tattoos covering his body. He was attractive, but he looked like a fuck boy. Naima never really used that word to describe people, but that was what she thought about him. He was here to waste her time, maybe she was wrong. 'Never know until you try, he-' her thoughts were interrupted by his voice.

"Hello?" Naima nodded totally forgetting that he said something to her. A small smile formed on his lips as he repeated his question sticking his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, I was. You were there too, huh? You did the graffiti outside of the building, right? and gave that speech on how you like express your vibes into art." She remembered him, How could she forget him?! He was the last presenter, you always remember the last. And his was worth remembering.

"Yeah, I did." He almost laughed but concealed it with a smile, it confused her because what she said wasn't anything to laugh at.

"What's funny?" she felt the need to be blunt. No specific reasons on why, she just did.

"I was just a little surprised, that's all" Naima nodded, she asked a question. He gave an answer, it may not have been a true answer, but she just met the guy there was no need for her to act crazy.

"I never caught your name, but if I remember correctly it was Christopher?" It was Chris, she knew it she just didn't want him to know. Christopher wasn't even that far off, it might his whole name. She thought watching his head nod.

"Naima, right?"

"You got it" Their conversation came to an end as her no longer MIA friends made their way to greet her.

"Naima! where have you been?" Neema, her obviously tipsy sister sat down next to her.

"Sitting here, obviously." Annoyance filled through her body as the smell of alcohol surrounded her sister.

"Why didn't you come drink with us?! and who's this?"

"Chris meet my sister, Neema. and my friend Aviana" By the looks, Naima could already tell they were drooling over him. She couldn't blame them, he was good looking. But she saw him first

"Can you excuse us for a moment?" Neema shot up sliding down her dress before grabbing Naima and Aviana's hands. Naima rolled her eyes holding up a finger before walking off with her friends.

"What do you want?" Naima was more than annoyed with her two friends at the moment.

"He's really hot, Nana" Neema sighed glancing his way

"Yeah, I know. Why did you call me over?" The look she gave them filled them both with suspicion. She was going to do something shady, Neema was known for her reputation with the male gender. Not good ones either, her victims were always people that Aviana and Naima hung around.

"Well, I want him next. Let me get him" She begged, the look of disgust that masked Naima seemed not to bother them. Aviana would do this stupid act aswell, Naima had always been the outcast of their little group.

"Move" Naima moved her way through the crowd shuffling back to her new friend, Chris. The anger clearly viewable on her dark complexion face, she just wanted to get away.

"I just met you and all, but can we like- like go somewhere? I want to clear my mind" She spoke over the music in his ear, Chris grabbed her hand with no hesitation escorting her out of the club.
