Chapter 15: I'll Protect You

"Hey" you slowly said, she smirked. "Sorry. I bet these your friends?" she asked pointing at the girls.

"Yeah I'm Annabeth" Annabeth introduced herself. The rest quickly introduced their selfs when Reyna came, mad.

"I told you don't talk to anyone yet" she sneered Clarrise glared at her. "Jeez I was just trying to talk to someone. You can't tell me what to do" Clarrise replied.

Reyna glared at all of us, she then whispered something that you can only pick up some words like: "Bellona, Daughter, Revenge".

What's going on. First Couch Hedge then her?!.
You shrugged it off again but decided that one more time this happens you will tell someone.

Reyna then walked off, "wow that's the first time anyone's defended us. They mostly leave us alone" Hazel said "thanks Clarrise" Piper thanked her, Clarrise gave her a questioning look. "You never speak up to her?" she asked. 

"Well she did come here recently" Annabeth replied, Clarrise said, "oh". "Well she is my roommate, I found out today but I don't really care" Clarrise said.

Damn that girl is harsh but you liked her, shes cool You think

Annabeth then looked at her, "I'm going to go change ok?"  She said Clarrise nodded. "I need to go now, I'll see one of you guys in Greek class if anyone of you guys have it" she said as you then noticed you have Greek too.

Clarrise then left.

Ugh then that means I need to present the project. Me and Death Breath. Can't my life be any worse?. You said grabbing clothes and going to change.

(Time Skip And Change Into Nico's POV Cause I Can :) )

Nico's POV:

After gym class I was pretty much surprised at what y/n and her friends did. They all looked sick but I can't tell anyone that.

They'll probably think I have a crush on one of them.
Uh..... no.

I then rubbed my head and went to my locker. And there I saw y/n, Drew alone? and pinning her to a wall.

"Leave them all alone. Don't take anyone away from me!" She whispered to her harshly. "Your just a shy bitch that nobody likes. Especially, your crush. Nico?" She said.

What?!

Y/n then bolded her fist and pushed Drew away.

"I do not have a crush on that jerk!" She responded as she quickly grabbed her stuff for Greek class, and headed my direction.

I bit my lip at what she said.
But why?!

Completely confused of where to go. She bumped into me. She then yelped. "What are you doing here? Did you hear anything?" She asked.

I looked at her twinkling e/c eyes and shook my head side to side. She sighed and looked at the ground. "I can't take it" she blurted out her eyes looking very depressed.

My heart felt very heartbroken when I saw her expression but why?. I don't care about her. Do I? Nah.

"Can't take what?" I asked, blurting it out. "Bullying. You wouldn't know because your the most popular jerk in school" she responded.

I didn't look offended. A tiny part of me maybe cared about y/n?. I'm so confused, I'm not supposed to like a shy person right? I'm supposed to like a cheerleader or something.

But I just can't.

I then touched her shoulder again, she looked at me completely baffled. "What are you doing?. If Drew saw us I'll be dead" She said.

I did a slight smirk. "Ignore Drew." I blurt out. Wait where did that come from?.

"Let me walk you to class ok?" I offered she looked at me with an extremely 'what the fuck?' Face.

"Do you want me to die?" She said. "No." She answered me nearly below a whisper.

"C'mon." "I'll protect you" I whispered.

Your POV:

"I'll protect you" he said his breath very near to my neck since he is like 2 inches taller than me.

His breath smelled minty. It send shivers up your spine.

The biggest jerk in school walking me, kinda of a social outcast. I must be dreaming.

"I- I" You were completely baffled to what to say. "I'll secretly sneak you out. I'm kinda good in the shadows" he said.

I looked down. What ever I'm already dead meat.

"Fine. But don't let anyone see ok?" I asked he did his slight smirk and nodded. He then did the unexpected. He grabbed my hand.

"Wha-" "calm down y/n. I know what I'm doing." He answered. I then felt my face burning up. But why?!
The biggest jerk in school is holding my hand. Why am I blushing?!!!.

I then kept quiet. And just like he said, nobody noticed him. But how can he do it?!. He's one of the most popular kids in school with his bad boy reputation of his and he managed to get us to Greek class.

"You good?" He asked. You then realized you were kinda daydreaming. You then met his dark brown eyes and nodded.

"Yeah why wouldn't I?" You asked. He then looked at his hand. "You kinda have a tight grip there." He answered.

Your eyes widen and then let go of his pale, cold hand. "Sorry" you whisper. He chuckled, "oh and you did a good job back there in gym." He said.

You slightly smiled, "thanks" You whisper. He then tapped you shoulder again.

You were completely surprised at his actions today. "Yeah ok, let go to Greek class and let's get this dumb project over with ok!" You said.

For a second, he frowned?! but nodded. "You go first. I don't want you to get hurt again because of you being with me" he said looking down.

This must be a dream.

"Uh ok" You replied. And then opened the door, there you saw Clarrise her legs on her desk. When she saw you she slightly smiled and did a quick wave at you.

You scurried to your desk, but when you did, there you saw a cute looking boy, he had nerdy glasses, but what mostly caught you attention was that he reminded of you of Annabeth.

He sat behind you, his face buried in a Greek Mythology book.
You could then tell you were developing a small crush on this particular boy.

But what you didn't know was that Nico was right next to you. Slightly glaring at the boy in the book.
