Chapter 9: Park

Pipers POV:

I then said goodbye to the girls. I was supposed to get picked up by a limo nearby since my dad is the famous, Tristan McLean.

I shiver. I never liked to tell who my father was because it was either people would bully me since they are jealous or that they'll like to take advantage of me and probably ask for money or stuff like that.

Luckily, when I told the girls they just complemented my father and never took advantage of me.

Ugh I love them all so much

Anyways, I was walking to the place the limo normally picks me up but I can't help but think about the words Jason said, "Meet me at the park nearby when schools over."

Like I already told that kid that we can study in my house. But I just can't get those words out of my mind.

The limo then arrived, and I hoped right in. When the car was alomost at the park, I then told him to stop. "Um but miss I'm supposed to take you home" he says puzzled.

I then put in a little bit of power in my voice. He then obeyed and stopped right when we were in the park. "Thank you" I said "just can you please wait for me here?" I asked.

He nods and looks down. What's up with him. I then ran to the park. There sat Jason looking around. I bit my lip and walked up to him "hello?" You asked.

"Oh hey you fine!" He said smirking and shining his blue eyes. My heart then skipped. Why?!.

"So why'd you call me here?" I asked ignoring him caring for me "well Piper, first of all, I didn't think you will come and it's because I thought maybe we can study here?" He said.

"Fine" I said, sternly "so where's your backpack?" I ask "Left it at school" he said playing with his football. "And you brought your football instead." I glared at him.

He nods "I have practice tomorrow" he says. I facepalmed "great logic" I mutter "hey" he protests "look Jason I'm just here to study. I really don't want to save your ass" I respond.

"Well why'd you agree?" He smirks "because- because I want good grades unlike some people" I insult "well at least I'm not shy like some people!" He says, angrily.

I then could feel tears in my eyes "I'm- I'm sorry" he says, looking down. "I get it!. Im shy and can barely talk to y-" I then stop. He then looks at me "I said I'm sorry can we study?" He says, with a sad expression.

"Fine." I say, angry. I then taught him, those hurtful words in my mind. Luckily, I finished quickly and slammed the text book.

"There now don't be an idiot!" I say as I then grabbed my backpack and headed off. "Piper, I told you I'm sorry" he says.

"Ok sure, just please leave-" suddenly, Drew came.

Fuck!
"What?!" He asks looking my direction.

"Jason, I told you don't talk to her?!" she hisses. I then walked up to her and slapped her. "You bitch!" She shrieks trying to attack me but Jason hold her back.

"Piper leave!" He yells. Then Drew smirked and kissed him. For some reason, I felt angry. I stormed to Drew.

"Don't!" Jason yells
"Why do you keep saving me!" I yell at Jason.

Jason then pushed Drew away hard, she then hit a tree. I was shocked that I just ran away, the last words I heard were "because I c-" but I left.

I quickly ran to the limo quickly. "Miss what happened?" The driver asked "just keep driving" I said, sternly.

He then drove off.

I tried to rethink what happened but I just couldn't.
